I wouldn't bet on that if I were you mate. Mandatory rules mean that the Champion must defend his title against the number one challenger every 12 months. And that includes the six/eight week long raining camp.

So let's say that Santa Cruz's defence against Seda was a mando, then the fight has to happen before December 14th of this year.
