Take it smith won on prsBoxing Prospect wrote:On this performance....Muira destroys Smith.
Munoz retired on his stool after Smith had his best round. Before that Smith was certainly far from dominant.GlobalBox wrote:Take it smith won on prsBoxing Prospect wrote:On this performance....Muira destroys Smith.
It'd take a big sum to get Miura over but I don't think I'd bother, TM would eat Smith alive here, Japan, Mexico or in the middle of the Sahara desert.columbo wrote:No offence but why would Miura come over here to defend his title? Im sure he makes good money in Japan.
Kick on thanks guysjameswilson wrote:Munoz retired on his stool after Smith had his best round. Before that Smith was certainly far from dominant.GlobalBox wrote:Take it smith won on prsBoxing Prospect wrote:On this performance....Muira destroys Smith.
I'm sure he'd travel if the money was right, but there's no way Hearn will fork out to bring him over here, especially when Stephen isn't realistically going to win the fight.columbo wrote:No offence but why would Miura come over here to defend his title? Im sure he makes good money in Japan.
Eddie is very business focused though (which is a good thing) do you think the standard sky boxing budget could fund Miura being brought over here? I mean if it wasnt on PPV.expe wrote:I'm sure he'd travel if the money was right, but there's no way Hearn will fork out to bring him over here, especially when Stephen isn't realistically going to win the fight.columbo wrote:No offence but why would Miura come over here to defend his title? WBO vacant after Garcia steps up? Get in line for the IBF?pyenest77 wrote:Eddie will pick the easiest route to a belt.
Is the IBF one with Mendez who is fighting Barthlemy? *excuse the spelling*Boxing Prospect wrote:WBO vacant after Garcia steps up? Get in line for the IBF?pyenest77 wrote:Eddie will pick the easiest route to a belt.
At the moment the WBA, WBC and WBO are all with VERY good fighters.
Yeah it's with Mendez due to the controversy surrounding their first fight, that's not going to be an easy one to get. Not sure Smith would even beat Naito.columbo wrote:Is the IBF one with Mendez who is fighting Barthlemy? *excuse the spelling*Boxing Prospect wrote:WBO vacant after Garcia steps up? I think they would probably need to sell out the Echo Arena, with a cheap undercard and Smith taking a lower purse, before they could even consider bringing Miura over, at that point maybe the money would be in the pot to offer him a big purse, but it would need to be substantially bigger than what he gets in Japan to tempt him over.columbo wrote:Eddie is very business focused though (which is a good thing) do you think the standard sky boxing budget could fund Miura being brought over here? Do you reckon Smith would beat the Cuban?Boxing Prospect wrote:Yeah it's with Mendez due to the controversy surrounding their first fight, that's not going to be an easy one to get.
