Munoz retired on his stool after Smith had his best round. Before that Smith was certainly far from dominant.

It'd take a big sum to get Miura over but I don't think I'd bother, TM would eat Smith alive here, Japan, Mexico or in the middle of the Sahara desert.

Smith showed how difficult it is to step from domestic class to fringe world. He's nowhere near ready and will benefit massively from a few more fights like the one tonight.

Yeah it's with Mendez due to the controversy surrounding their first fight, that's not going to be an easy one to get. Not sure Smith would even beat Naito.

I think they would probably need to sell out the Echo Arena, with a cheap undercard and Smith taking a lower purse, before they could even consider bringing Miura over, at that point maybe the money would be in the pot to offer him a big purse, but it would need to be substantially bigger than what he gets in Japan to tempt him over.
