What's funny? Are you a child. If you actually read it you won't see that I've actually said he would've won as I'm not a tarrot. Booth is great at knowing his guy weaknesses and doing everything to avoid them being exploited. If Booth devised a plan for Groves, he would've spent much more of the fight running and would've shut up shop in the first fight/Tomasino wrote:danconnollyeire wrote:George should bitterly regret leaving Booth. He could've (IMO would've) been world champion beating one of the P4P best by now. Fair play to Froch, made him look like he ran out of ideas due to not being able to get under his skin. If Booth was devising the plan, he maybe wouldn't need to have been so petty at times. He wasn't such a dick vs Degail, Booth would've advised him what to say, how to get fans on you side and how to avoid getting KOd on his way to a points win

He lost twice to the better man. Booth can't change that fact.

Re: Froch comments on Gavin (Paddy) Fitzpatrick
Yeah plus Booth tends to be classy in interviews towards other camps etc. For the Haye hater and he can be infuriating, he built a public persona from nothing with no big promotional backing, won a ton of casual fans over, with Booth advising with along the way. Booth would've had words with him 'say that, say less of that' etcIan1973 wrote:
I do think Booth was very important for Groves. At the top level of any sport it's often small margins and minor details that can make a difference. Booth is very, very good at what he does and i can't help thinking Groves is a lesser fighter without booth's influence.
Whether or not booth being around Groves would've changed either fight is pure conjecture no-one can know for certain no more than anyone can say for certain that Marciano would've beaten Ali or Ali would've beaten Tyson or Tyson would've beaten Joe Louis. Yes, we can all have opinions but without evidence they're not really worth much.

I was gona answer this but it seems the 'rec regulars have already dealt with it. I'm a "women" for pointing out carl was merely answering an interview question 4 days after a fight. But anzi's oh so masculine getting up in arms like a frustrated housewife in case poor groves is upset by the mean comments.Anzi wrote:Is this a women ? Ha Ha, it was tongue in cheek, not meant as an insult, it was just your bull in a china shop response, that reminded me of someone, that's all, it does not matter if it was 4 days after a fight or 1 day, fighters who have grudges usually squash them after a fight, the respect is there for the opponents, because fighters know what the other has gone through, Groves is to blame as well, both should know better, but I was commenting on his interview, anyone with intelligence can see that Froch is scarred mentally from the experience. I don't think Groves would be getting hauled over the coals as much if the roles were reversed

I am trolling ? Different subject, another post, another day, yeh, right ! We all know where it was leading, don't we ? Sorry I upset one of your internet mates, was not meant that way or you, just as I said, tongue in cheek, Humour, I guess you have to be part of the Click to do that.danconnollyeire wrote:Well that's just pathetic trolling, I was genuinely interested. Stevieb, You got me there ? But I did say Groves was to blame as well. Maybe I am old fashioned, but I believe in respect for your opponent and that you should be gracious in victory or defeat, again sorry if you took it the wrong way mate.

Mates? What? Do you just invent situations? I saw you said you coach the other day I was asking who. Humour only occurs when someone/thing is funny. Not 'your mother', which is a phrase commonly used by infantsAnzi wrote:I am trolling ? Different subject, another post, another day, yeh, right ! We all know where it was leading, don't we ? Now that is funny. The worst comedians laugh at their own jokes. Has anybody found your comments funny? Has anyone over the age of 15 found 'your mum' funny?Anzi wrote:It was funny to me, as you are, did you mention Infants lol, if you don't like my jokes, then don't respond to them, trust me, you are no loss to me.

Some guys on here like to massage each others dicks, that's for sure, I think I will leave this party, not for me, some need employment, too much time on their hands to search the internet for props and phrases.
