I reckon Riddick Bowe looked shot early.

An old timer, who some might not know, was the hard hitting Artie Levine (1941-49). He turned pro at 16, trained by Marciano's trainer Charlie Goldman, had 72 fights and retired aged just 24.

He is probably most famous for knocking the great Sugar Ray Robinson down for a nine count that actually lasted for around 20 seconds. Robinson said Levine was the hardest puncher he ever faced. Tough fighter.

Kevin Anderson burned out pretty young,he was never the same after the Mutley fight

cheers for that, he must have has a hell of a punch on him. Charlie White was another terrific puncher.

Great rivalry - genuine needle
Skilled boxer vs brawler
Both vulnerable
Both had hearts of lions
Terrific action fight
Darke and McCrory on commentary (their best call of a fight I think. darke especially really was superb)

Matthew Hilton burned brightly for a spell. Think bad training habits, injury and out of the ring family issues didn't help in the curtailing of his career at a relatively young age.
