But...but....but...

TOO BIG TOO STRONG MODERN NUTRITION LOLZ

Also I guess Ian1973 didn't notice Fury getting decked by Pajkic and Cunningham.

I did. I also noticed Ali being floored by Cooper who despite the adoration of the British public was never world class.

Fury in the fights you mentioned was a work in progress he isn't anymore.

If Fury has reached his ceiling, then it is not high.

Fury is still hugely under-rated. He's barely had a glove landed on him in his last four fights. His boxing has been beautiful. He may not be exciting and he doesn't excite but he is hugely efficient.

I would bet money on both Jack Johnson or Harry Wills to beat Fury. Wills, imo, is one of the most under-rated heavys of all time, beating top heavys at the time as well as Sam Langford about 13 or 14 times. He couldn't get a fight with Dempsey because of the color line, which was put back in place after Johnson beat Jeffries.

If these modern training methods are so advanced, why are the modern heavyweights such poor athletes in general?
The bigger you are, the worse your conditioning is with the same training.

Dempsey would slaughter fury and Jack is badly overrated by historians. He'd lose to dozens of fighters from that era. Fury cracks me up, but he's mediocre historically. John Ruiz would make sweet love to him.

If Brook shows anything near Martyn Murray's chin, considering he is quicker and carries a good dig, he goes a fair distance and takes a few rounds, he doesn't win, he does get stopped and I suspect ground down to the body being the main problem but considering his size and his boxing abilities and GGG isn't that hard to hit I don't think Brook will do too badly. It certainly is a win win for him if he manages to avoid getting ruined by the fight.

I'm talking about your typing/posting style  but while we're on the subject, if all my negotiations for the past several months had been scuppered and the promoter Id been dealing with offered me a in nine weeks for an absolute truck load of cash when it looked like I might not even get another opportunity this year then I'd fight a handicapped effing midget, I don't know about you. A career best payday and an opportunity to broaden the fanbase in another, boxing friendly country when getting another fight this year was looking bleak would be too good an opportunity to pass up, it's not like team Golovkin chased this fight, in fact, they're in the position they're in due to chasing legit middleweight title challenges/defences.

Beauty's in the eye of the beholder... But, last four fights? Haven't those fights been against nobody, nobody, Dereck chisora and a wlad that looked sixty-five years old? I can't think my way into a headspace where I imagine fury beating Ali.

Why do you think Thurman never calls out Brook? Thurman is very very smart he knows Brook is a daunting task and the fight would do better

financially in London....Thurman is smart! Thurman will be undefeated for years to come! Brook will beat up GGG! GGG made a mistake cherry

picking Kell Brook!

I agree that Brook is elite, though like most I'm picking GGG to win. To say that GGG cherry picked Brooks is silly though, when you look at all the details.
