Bellew has definately got under his skin, he's bound to with all the "your a bad father" stuff, thing is I think it's going to back fire, I think Haye will explode all over him from the first bell.

I'm even more convinced after the press conference that Haye wont allow Bellew to see the 2nd round

Seeing Bellew unconscious on the floor early might be the most satisfying KO I've ever seen if it happens

The Bellew camp seem to be saying that they will win because Haye hasnt got the stamina, is injured, and won't last. If haye has the stamina and isn't injured I think Bellew is saying he knows he would lose.

I just found out Sky are screening this free in New Zealand.
:box:
Sweet. Not as if I would pay for it, but more than happy to watch it free.
Thanks Sky! A rare complement.

Hell the baying Scouse pricks at the back were irritating. The Walkers crisps brigade (slight Audley paraphrase) yelling 'who are ya?' at a two weight world champion was an unedifying sound.

Does Haye ever mention Adonis Stevenson? He really should.

Deciding whether to pay for this or not.

I've not ordered a PPV for ages. But, for once I've not got anything going on this Saturday. I know it's going to be a mismatch, but having Haye lay the smack down on Bellew will be quite funny.

Not a great undercard, but wouldn't mind seeing Sam Eggington vs Paulie Malignaggi. Katie Taylor also, to an extent.

Depends whether I can be bothered, might just wonder down the pub for the main event.

Davis/Mathews on this card. I know Derry is a stalwart of the game etc but why does he need to be moving up to fight a strong young prospect over a twitter beef?

Crazy, I hope he doesn't get hurt too bad but I fear for him.

Thats what makes me think he doesn't care about Bellews talk. All he has to do is bring up the Stevenson fight to win the argument. Bellew talks the talk and seemed to look for a way out when hit

Oh thanks - didn't realise it was him, he looked much bigger than a light welter. Funny to see him wind up the scousers!

I've seen an interview after the presser and Haye seems deadly serious about ending Bellew's career. He doesn't want him coming back and defending his titles at cruiser, he wants to finish his career for good.

One thing is beyond doubt, whatever Haye does or says outside the ring, he's all business inside it.

I give Haye props where deserved, he's a natural fighter, I remember being at ringside when Carl did him, and Haye took his lumps, waving Carl in for more whilst he was taking a pasting. There's no dog in Haye at all, well, aside from the Wlad fight, but I think he was beaten before he got through the ropes, I just don't think the belief was there.

Bellew is so insecure about his life.

Droning on and on about Haye's haircut, his clothes, his lifestyle when he's sat there like your archetypal fat chavvy scouser in a suit on court day - the ill fitting suit way too dressy for the occasion

Bangin on interminably about his kids. Its normal to spend time with ones children - does he think he's the only dad in liverpool who does. The quite sad undercurrent to this is that Bellew obviously thinks it is very unusual to do so and such a thought process usually comes from being brought up without your old man around.

Bangin on and on about haye's finances. How the fvck would he know anything about them and what business is it of his anyway.

I can well understand Haye getting vexed when he's had a fat chavvy domestic/euro level gobshite regularly insulting a man of his achievements in public for months. I only wish Haye had the confidence in his own stamina to carry this chump for a few rounds, outclassing and humiliating him and exposing his mediocre skillset before brutally KOing him

I thought Bellew looked fat at the presser - perhaps he's done his cardio with Price.

I know he gets ribbed for it but I think you're right and I think the toe had a lot to do with his confidence, probably mentally more so that the physical aspect. He was going into the fight against someone who had dominated the division, in his back yard, someone who holds all the physical advantages, and he had a broken toe, had to reduce his camp, get pain injections before the fight. It's all stuff that messes with your mind and creates doubt (he knew he had to be close to his best for that fight and knew he wasn't going in at his best) I honestly think if he had been injury free he would have shown up on the night. I also don't think booth was good for his confidence either he practically said Haye wasn't good enough and should retire after the fight.

Anyone know what Bellew was hinting at with his comments about Haye going to Germany, has anyone heard about an injury?
