Crowd response probably played a part too. The crowd was obviously pro-Horn so that helped him as people cheered his work. To be fair the crowd also went mental in Round 9 for Pacman nearly finishing it, but apart from that I can't remember many big responses to Pac's work.

I would disagree. The crowd were louder in their adulation towards Manny. When the cameras showed the dressing rooms of each fighter prior to coming out, the cheer for Manny was way louder..

The most questionable officiating of the bout came from the judge who gave Manny only 3 rounds.

I saw bent bobs handiwork in the bent ref spoiling to stop a fantastic fight prematurely and has his richard steele moment......nasty piece of work

The ref had the authority to stop it and he didn't (I find it strange that some people think his trip to the corner was highly unreasonable). Arum co-promotes Horn and a big rematch in Australia is probably among the best outcomes for him.

Generally Horn would start the round strong. Drive Pac to the ropes and sink some body punches in. Often at the end of the round he would appear fatigued and Pac would be picking him off.

In most rounds both men had periods of success. I can see how some had Pac winning but calling it a robbery???

I havent seen the fight but just watched round 9 and didnt see any reason for the ref to even have a word with horn,he was moving throwing punches and even landed the last shot of the round + no way it was a 10-8 round

My point wasnt "oh horn landed the last shot so he shouldnt be given a 10-8 against" my point is horn was throwing shots back,end of the day 10-8 should only come into effect when there is knock down imo

A cut and wild swings that only a few land doesnt make it one sided,id like to see the punch stats for round 9 and i bet horn had a better percentage of thrown to land compared to pacman

Pac was hitting him plenty and his legs were shaky for much of the round. A few wild swings is a poor description of what actually happened.

Referees often talk briefly to corners during round intervals - nothing wrong with it imo. It's not like he stopped them working and lectured them for a full minute, he just gave them a quick heads-up on his thinking.

How the F is horn winning in this poll? WTF are you lot watching? Horn made some rounds close with his aggression but he hit air all night, he was woefully inaccurate.

I gave him 5 rounds but he didn't win any of them cleanly tbh. Anyone finding 7 rounds for Horn must be on something.

Does referee/umpire give quick heads-up on thinking in any other sport? Some boxing refs have adopted Stanley Christodoulou's no balls crap. He had a habit pleading with corner during rest period to call it quits because he feared premature stoppage accusations.

You don't need this fight to tell you how bad compubox is. They take it personally too, i tweeted them when they released those bogus Floyd-Pac punch numbers and they sent a private-message back chastising me because i hadn't "spent decades, ringside, counting punches".

They're a tin-pot company that get free ringside seats to pretend to count punches with a glorified abacus.
