Yep, my prediction was wrong and so was yours. What's the point of your post?

It was less about the prediction...more about the content of your post that was humorous.
The problem with your mockery, is that it's solely based on hindsight.

Your opinion wasn't much different to mine before the bout and nor did you ridicule this post at the time I posted it.

Is that what you're going to do now? Wait until the outcome of fights have been determined and then mock the posts of those that predicted incorrectly?

Seriously, it's funny when people are confident and wrong. Just laugh it off and move on like Opie did.

David Haye punished himself. :verysad:
I am sad because it is evident that Haye-Fury will never happen.
Actually, there's more chance than ever of it happening now knowing Fury.

Despite Haye's denials I think his right leg was a problem. Maybe it's a permanent one because it's weird to see Haye swinging wildly like that now in both fights. His stance and footwork look shot too.

David Haye could be just the opponent Tyson Fury might be looking for. Oh wait! There's still that dangerous right hand. Maybe next year.
Tyson Fury says he will never defend his titles against fellow Briton David Haye.

Fury shocked the boxing world by beating Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday to secure the WBA, IBF and WBO belts.

But Fury has not forgiven Haye for pulling out of two scheduled fights against him in 2013 and causing him "mental and physical torture".

"David Haye will never get a fight against Tyson Fury after what he did to me," said the Manchester boxer.

"I remember him saying that he'd never give me a payday. Well, the shoe is on the other foot now.

"If he gets a mandatory shot with any of the governing bodies, I'll vacate the title. Let him go and fight Fred Flintstone or Joe Bloggs and make no money.

"I don't care if he says I can make £10m by fighting him, it's not about money for me.

"I knew how much boxers got messed about at the highest level. But there were times [when Haye pulled out of the fights] that I didn't want to box any more.

"He is a pretender, a fraud and he is getting no opportunities from us."

My immediate reaction after watching the fight was that Haye conned his way into a fight while carrying an injury, he must have known this coming in and has perfected the art of a being a confidence trickster and lost all credibility now.
Tony Bellew did almost everything right good luck to the man, he's surprised me at just how savvy he really is and hopefully he'll be able to build on this and get some more decent paydays
down the road.
Feels like David Haye cheated everyone.

Glad I didn't buy it and put money in his pocket. Have to admit, I jumped onto the Haye bullsh$t train for this fight...couldn't have been more wrong.

Haye says that he has to watch the tape before he makes a decision on his future.

Sounds like most fighters who either don't know when it's over or really don't care.

Despite his supposed distaste for Haye, I still think that Fury has his eye on him as a comeback opponent this year.

Fury insists that he'll fight 5 or 6 times this year so I'm sure he can fit Haye into his schedule.

Mentioning Tor Hammer. Dude is hilarious. He was beating Ruiz Jr. handily until he started receiving some punishment in return then just abruptly quit on his stool. David Haye at least tried to fight back with a messed up leg.

Yeah right. He still hasn't even announced an opponent for his supposedly scheduled June 9th appearance.

Haye is done. When you cannot beat Bellew at HW it is time to quit.

I bit afraid that he might still fight against Whyte or Fury for one last payday. I hope that won't happen.

Unfortonately, you are right.

Still, I can not forget how Stevenson destroyed Bellew (at fukcing LHW). So, I feel Bellew is KO/TKO waiting to happen at HW.

He called out a retired light heavyweight in his post fight comments last night.

Bellew isn’t a fool, he wants no part of a dangerous, powerful, hungry fighter. Hence why he swerved the super series and is praying Uysk wins. Gassiev has too much power to risk fighting.

Makabu is a very hard puncher, and Bellew got past him. The guy just keeps destroying everyone's expectations. Second time he's defeated Haye as the underdog, and he was the underdog against Makabu.

I think it's time to take him serious. I think Bellew can beat someone like Breazeale and Knownacki.

Also, I wouldn't underestimate Superman p4p-wise. I don't like Stevenson, but the version Bellew fought was as close to prime as you can get.

This might be onle one reasonable excuse - weight issues, Bellew was too drained.
I will never have respect for TB , because of his behaviour.....And I can not imagine him as a genuine champion (at CW, or at HW, the same). I can imagine Hearn to make two or three lucrative fights for him, and that's it..........

i'll bet lots of money that Bellew loses to Breazeale and Kownacki if he fights one of them.

Haye is done, was inactive for 4 years, he spends more time at hospital than at the gym, i doubt he could beat anyone top 50 atm. Kownacki stops Haye in 3 rounds

You nailed it unequivocally.

I was sort of wishy washy about it.

I felt Haye was just on the point of being shot, but probably just had enough left to beat Bellew as long as something in his body didn't go 'snap', but he looks beyond shot, never mind on the cusp of it.

He's clearly still carrying injuries too & that's not a good sign for someone of his age & with his injury record.

Did anyone hear Adam Smith say he heard a rumour about Haye being injured ? obviously couldn't mention it before everyone had subscribed to the PPV :shame:

Inactivity and poor shape is what beat Haye’s, not taking anything from Bellew, he came to fight in top shape. Would be interesting to see Povetkin fight Bellew.

I believe that Fury has announced that he will make an announcement this Wednesday concerning his June 9 fight.

Odds are that it will be that cruiserweight Seferi. But I wouldn't dismiss Haye as a real possibility.

No way Haye would fight again so soon just a little over 30 days after a KO loss.
