Yea, and that everybody already named him and let you realise beforehand that he nearly achieved it which made your comment completely pointless.
Mine was pointless ?   i didn't name him because it was pointless, you named Chagaev which was also pointless,You may as well say Wlad didn't get knocked down, apart from the times he got knocked down :witzend:
All your posts are pointless    you didn't name anyone at all, all your posts are just waste of forumspace yet.

I admit i struggled to name someone who hadn't already been named ,i could come up with a list of boxers that had been knocked down but then that wasn't the question was it ? weren't you banned once ?

No, Taylor couldn't put him down. Towel came in.

Council knocked him down with a great left hook before stopping him a round or two later.

Reggie Johnson had a solid beard and went in with some big punchers (Parks, Castro, Guthrie, Klemetsen etc) but he admits that a handful of guys knocked him down with quick shots (Eric Williams, Victor Walker, Ismael Negron, Eddie Hall and Roy Jones). I remember Jones knocking him down.

Ramirez went in with some big guns, he has a really early stoppage loss to Olivares down at feather so I have to assume he was on his arse at some point.

Nelson had a great chin but Sanchez knocked him down twice. Was he knocked down after that? Leija?
Mario Martinez dropped Nelson and looked a bit unlucky to lose a split decision.

Bradley's been down loads. Provo basically gave him short term brain damage.

Ottke has been down too, Reid knocked him down although the ref ruled it a slip. Mundine had him down too.

In my opinion some boxers simply earned their spot anyway, despite going down at very high age or something.

Ernie Schaaf for example never went down in 65 fights. Then he finally went down for the first time in his life, he never stood up and 4 days later he was death.

Anyway, if you got no name and nothing interesting to post anyway, please don't come back at all, that's the best for everyone.
Best for you you mean because your argument is heavily floored and you have no answers.

I don’t think Marv was ever visibly badly shaken, Hearns and Minter hurt him ( maybe ) but it was fookin hard to tell.
Juan Roldan droped hagler I fink
It was a ridiculous call.

It was clearly a slip and bad call by the referee.

I thought of Maxie Rosenbloom last night but apparently he was dropped at least once. Still, nearly 300 fights that is pretty incredible.

re: Hagler/Roldan, he was crouching forward and gets hit behind the head with a left hook. It's weird, he clearly does go down/forwards but having watched it on a loop about 50 times he's pushing himself up almost immediately as he makes contact with the canvas. Obviously a slip. In slow-mo you can see his right boot go.

I think Corrie Sanders had a case for a legitimate knockdown against Vitali but it wasn't ruled. I don't even need to time stamp it in this video it happens in the first minute

This was debated a few times on here over the years I've been posting, I think it's disputable but to me it's legit enough. Not official though. Sanders certainly had a dig on him.

hmmm, see, i would say vitali was clearly hurt, but i think he ultimately goes down from a push. you can see vitali is still standing after all the landed punches, but then sanders places his right glove around vitalis left side and pushes down....and then thats when vitali drops. dont think that uppercut as vitali goes down even lands

tbh i think the ref was correct in saying no knockdown although its one that takes a few replays

The Czech dude who was wbo light middle, quite a decent little boxer I’m fairly sure wasn’t dropped, Lucas konechny (sp)

Ricardo Lopez
:yay: 20 points for Konecny reference. every now and then I plaintively search youtube for the Matty Hall fight. I watched the Dzindzuruk(?) fight again the other night funnily enough.

Finito Lopez was down once vs Rosendo Alvarez :TU:

just too basic athletically for faster top level guys
:TU: for me the Maidana performance was a great win. if i was teaching a kid to box that would be one of my lessons, like Watson-Benn, keep calm, keep your guard, keep your jab going.

I think Ramirez was knocked down in the second Rosario fight.

I thought Nelson got knocked down in one of his later, more disinterested performances (probably avenged in a punch-perfect rematch, you know just the usual shit from him), Grove or Leija
