Vitali Klitschko had a helluva chin and had never been knocked down in his boxing pro-career, although he was knocked out cold in an amateur kickboxing match once.

The marvellous one, Marvin Hagler ~ nobody but nobody could drop that man. ( that wasn’t a knockdown )

Wayne McCullough
Never dropped as a pro. fought some big punchers like Naseem Hamed

Chuvalo. To hear him speak now you have to think he had a shock absorber for a chin.
Loi
Tua
Jofre
Obovusly Chavez was famously dropped by Randall but that is still some milestone.
I think monzon wasn’t dropped until his last fight.
Murat has a decent Chin on him but he has been dropped, although both stoppage losses were corner stoppages.
The Czech dude who was wbo light middle, quite a decent little boxer I’m fairly sure wasn’t dropped, Lucas konechny (sp)
Might have to check these but off the top of my head:
Harry Simon
Brian Mitchell
Winky Wright (not really, Vasquez bounced him up and down but did say he had new boots or something)
Quartey, although I think López dropped him.
Jose luis Lopez
Ricardo Lopez

Has mayweather been down?
Re: high level fighters never dropped
Btw Tua was dropped in pros by Rahman right after the final bell, but that wasn't counted.
And Mayweather had curious knockdown affairs. He was counted out, when he broke his hand and took a knee, but he wasn't counted out, when he was rocked by Judah and touched the canvas with a glove.

Touched the deck once or twice, never ruled a KD though

A knee after breaking of a hand was ruled as a KD.

Golovkin, Wilder. I know they're still fighting, but they are well into their careers now.

So he doesn't really fit the title of the thread then does he ?astradamus wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 13:30 Chagaev nearly, he I think he wasn't down against Klitschko as far as I remember, despite the TKO (while sitting on his chair), did get knocked down against Browne, but was actually standing while receiving the TKO loss.

He’s definitely been dropped, the footage is just always getting deleted from the internet (presumably by Wilder’s team).
Re: high level fighters never dropped
No wonder, it had to be a guy named Pele. Probably one of those bicycle kicks...Vitali never saw it coming.

Ah man, you're right. Dustin "The Worm" Nichols. Was it a knockdown though?Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑04 Nov 2018, 15:26He’s definitely been dropped, the footage is just always getting deleted from the internet (presumably by Wilder’s team).

Mariusz Wach took all the best punches from the best versions of Wlad, Povetkin and Miller and never went down.
