Canelo vs Rocky Fielding - WBA World Super-Middleweight title
Tevin Farmer vs Francisco Fonseca - IBF Super-Featherweight title
David Lemieux vs Tureano Johnson - 12 rounds Middleweight
Vergil Ortiz Jr vs TBA - 10 rounds Super-Lightweight
Sadam Ali vs Mauricio Herrera - 10 rounds Welterweight
Katie Taylor vs Eva Wahlstrom - IBF/WBA World Lightweight Titles
Solid card
You being sarcastic?
No
Lemieux vs Tureano Johnson, Sadam Ali vs Herrera, Tevin vs Fonseca...I've definitely seen worse undercards lately. I didn't say it was an amazing card, but it seems like a decent night.
I don't expect an awesome fight with a lot of these, but they're reasonably competitive matchups.

I agree with that. Lemieux is usually a fun watch. We'll see how well Farmer does against Fonseca (who did well against Tank).. Ali showed a brave performance in losing to Munguia and Herrera knows how to fight..

Canelo vs. Fielding Nearly Got Derailed By Passport Mix-Up
Rocky Fielding’s dream fight with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez was almost KO’d by a passport mix-up and former President George Bush.
Fielding faces superstar Alvarez at Madison Square Garden in the early hours of Sunday in the biggest fight of his career.
But he needed the help of an MP and a top American lawyer just to get him into the States.
The WBA super middleweight champion applied for a visa to allow him to fight in the US weeks ago and went to the embassy in London to get it approved.
The Liverpool boxer was told his passport would be sent back to him a few days later and in plenty of time for him to fly to America.
But Fielding wasn’t told by Alvarez’s promoters Golden Boy – who were handling the application - that his passport was ready to be collected from a local depot until just a few days before he was due to jet out.
And when he went to pick it up he was informed his visa had actually been declined due to a damaged passport.
With the clock ticking, Fielding’s efforts to get an emergency passport were further delayed by the embassy being closed due to Bush’s funeral.
Promotor Barry Hearn got involved speaking to at least one MP, before a US lawyer stepped in to ensure Fielding’s passport was plucked out of the queue and officially stamped.
“It was a bit of a sweat,” said Fielding.
“It was unbelievable. I was doing my last bit of training and my passport was stuck in a post office.
“When the passport was finally in my hand it was an unbelievable feeling.
“It wasn’t my fault, it was Golden Boy who never told me it was to be collected, but I got here in loads of time.
“I wanted to fly out on the Friday to watch Vasyl Lomachenko fight last Saturday but I still got here in time for that.”

I think so. He's a decent fighter, and Lemieux is certainly plenty flawed.
I fancied Johnson in that one actually.
Lemieux is flawed mate you're right. BJS made him look a total clown and if it wasn't for the multiple KDs N'Dam would've beaten him handily as well.

I really really hope Fielding beats him.
Fast start, use the distance advantage and try and blast him out early. He's not winning on points anyway. Might as well go for it.

In my dreams I see Fielding keeping Canelo at the end of his long jab and delivering crisp combinations that frustrate and make Canelo start to lunge in, being finally caught by a long right hand. Then I wake up to another Canelo KO over an overmatched cherrypicked opponent.

Yeah. Alvarez by body shot keeps popping into my head.
I'd love to be wrong though!

Those dreams sound pretty wet, cause Canelo's chin is granite, it was taking Golovkin's best punches. I just don't see, how Fielding can win this.
