Oh, I'd pick aj. I just don't think usyk needs to fight a couple fat dudes for preparation. Range wouldn't be an issue.

I expect Eddie will insist. Why make a lucrative match when you could make three? :D

I hear you. I think usyk would just fight again at cruiser before he'd fight the type of no-hoper much of the board is anticipating. I just don't see what builds it bigger. It would really just be trying to sell over here and nobody knows either, undisputed cruiser moving up with holy field comparisons would snatch as many dazn trials as beating up Miller.

I agree. If he takes on a fringe or lower level heavyweight and struggles in any way it could actually hamper the hype

It's just not going to be any bigger than it is now IMO. I can't see a scenario where it would be. The main thing is his matchmaking up to this point, doesn't strike me as a guy who would accept a fight with Sam sexton

Definitely not! I'm sure they could do a lot better than that. If it were to be a lowly ranked Brit, I'd suggest Nathan Gorman. Neither hit hard enough to be damaging. Gorman gets experience against a world class operator, and Usyk gets a first run out against heavier man who has decent boxing skills and who won't be causing any upsets.

They could do better than that too but since you mentioned Sam Sexton ....

Just tossing a name out, I'd be shocked if he fought gorman.

Yes I'd be surprised. They should be looking around the top 10 or 15.

caldo should change his nickname. This is my suggestion (the famous novel from famous Russian writer Dostoevsky, one word).
