I'm on the other side of that as you must know by now. We can bet a virtual Frappuccino.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:03 Groves said something interesting about Joyce: about how he only throws arm punches. It made me think of Vitali Klitschko:

I don’t think Joyce will beat the big 3 but I think he’ll be top 5 by 2020 and will give a good account of himself. I’m standing by my prediction that he’s the real deal.
I'll bet with you! I'll bet that Joyce remains unbeaten until he fights Wilder/AJ/Fury. The loser mails the winner a case of beer. Sound good?oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:07I'm on the other side of that as you must know by now. Virtual bets only. Loser has to post a thread of praise for the other.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:12I'll bet with you! A punch bag who punches back my my mate saysTwinkle Toes wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:07 He's not going to beat the top guys. I don't think he hits hard enough for a start, but worse than that is that he is wide open.
He did take one big humdinger really well tonight but Imagine someone like Whyte laying left hooks on him time after time.
Stiverne was a mobile punch bag.
I like that! Maybe with a photo of the loser doing this guy
You clearly have no confidence in your pick. That's fine: I'll let you off the hook.oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:16Virtual bets only. Just not a real betting man. I'm very confident in my pick. Joyce will get exposed once he faces decent opposition. Took him six rounds to beat a has been.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:39You clearly have no confidence in your pick. Joyce and Usyk will be the big opponents next year for the main lads. The others: Dubois, Yoka, Gorman, all that lot, are getting beat. Hrgovic and Ajagba I'm still reserving judgement on. And Dillian Whyte is so overrated it's unbelievable.
If I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up and admit it.
I'm confident in my pick. Joyce makes the top 5 in 12 months. Watch.oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 20:45Just not a real betting man. I'm very confident in my pick. You think he's fun to watch? He's like "the Mummy." Painfully slow. Slo-mo-Joe! I agree Stiverne hit him a really good right in the first round flush, and Joyce walked right through it. Highlight of the fight.gilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 21:34 Just got home, and got to watch this fight. Very good showing by Joyce. He's fun as hell to watch. Showed a good chin too as Stiverne landed some real solid rights in the 1st, but Joyce took 'em well. I definitely look forward to seeing a lot more of Joyce. You gotta figure his flaws will catch up to him against the Elite guys, but win or lose he'll be fun to watch almost always I'd imagine given the way he fights. I'm a fan.
Fun as hell to watch. I don't care that he lacks speed. He's aggressive, and steadily on the attack with big shots in combination, on top of that he has a leaky defense, and gets caught with heavy shots himself. What's not to like?oogiebe wrote: ↑23 Feb 2019, 21:46You think he's fun to watch? He's like "the Mummy." Painfully slow. Slo-mo-Joe!
