i think its that ggg was all along a business fighter even if he said otherwise. the dazn deal makes it big money even if its a weak opponent, so at his age especially hes prob just trying to get all the money he can while still activeEnlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 12:27I’m just surprised about GGG choosing easy prey. He’s going to be 37 years old soon. He doesn’t have time on his side to waste.

N'Dam ducked GolovkinEnlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 12:01A few years ago, when Hassan N'Dam was still perceived as being a decent fighter, he was promoted by Golden Boy, with his bouts televised by Showtime, whereas GGG had a network deal with HBO. Politically-speaking, the fight might have been possible from 2015 onwards when GBP resumed working with HBO.
Also, I don't recall any offers Loeffler made to N'Dam during this time and nor can I find any articles to prove that this even happened.
If Loeffler really did submit multiple offers to N'Dam, which were subsequebtly rejected, it would surely be easy to find articles about them?

'i wanted to fight but my trained explained to me that i need 2 more fights on the higher level. So far i fought opponents that i'll rate 3-4/10. now i need fights against 6-7/10 fighters before i'll jump to the 10/10 level.'' said Szeremeta.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 03:43The media previously reported that Kamil Szeremeta was contacted by GGG for a potential fight, around the same time that Brandon Adams was. No idea if Szeremeta would actually be Golovkin's replacement for Adams though.
in his next fight he will defend his EBU title vs Italian Matteo Signani.

We’ve had this discussion before and you’ve also posted links to the same articles before also.
Not one single article you’ve quoted details any offers submitted by K2 or Tom Loeffler to Hassan N'Dam.
Going down the mandatory challenger route and expecting the various governing bodies to handle the situation is clearly not the same as Tom Loeffler submitting financial offers to N’Dam N’Jikam.
And for the record, didn't Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam vacate his interim WBA title in preference to being elevated to becoming the full WBO world champion? His decision makes sense, since that belt holds more prestige than the WBA regular title.
You're aware of this, because I extracted both of the above two sentences from our previous discussion about this matter.
Think about the precise claim that boxing_rocks made. Also consider the sentences in my post you quoted and even highlighted in bold. And then find some sort of correlation between those words and the content of your articles.
I’m not being condescending, because I respect you, but on this one occasion I believe you got it wrong. There’s nothing in your post that contradicts anything I’ve claimed.
You need to attend adult literacy courses. You’re applauding url’s that you’ve not even bothered to read! Take a look at what I wrote and then compare it to the content of those articles. You'll very quickly realise the error of your ways.

The thing is EO, not everyone is Eddie Hearn or like some promoters that make offers public. We don’t know if offers were made, but we live in the age of, every single offer is made public. There are still some that prefer it old school.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 16:55 We’ve had this discussion before and you’ve also posted links to the same articles before also.

Who knows if Loeffler did or did not offer N’dam. The fight was about to even go to purse bids.
We can’t accuse someone of not doing something just because it hasn’t been documented online or an article does not exist. All we can really do is wonder.

All due respect, boxing_rocks claimed that “N'Dam declined offers from Loeffler multiple times.”Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Apr 2019, 17:33 The thing is EO, not everyone is Eddie Hearn or like some promoters that make offers public. I said it didn’t happen. No one can prove otherwise. This isn’t a religious debate, since faith alone shouldn't be regarded as "proof."
You then questioned this claim of mine by submitting articles that neither contradicted my thoughts nor supported boxing_rocks’ claims.
All we know is this… Hassan N'Dam preferred to vacate his interim WBA title in preference to being elevated to becoming the full WBO world champion. That’s not an unreasonable decision to make.
We also know that GGG and especially his opponents were grossly underpaid during 2012 and 2013, which is a point that has already been discussed at length in the following thread... and this may have influenced N'Dam's decision:
• "New 2019 Golovkin interview! GGG is all business this time."
We also both know for certain that there is almost no evidence of Tom Loeffler supplying offers to GGG’s big-name peers, since neither of us can find any. We do know, however, that some of the biggest paydays Golovkin has ever received were due to events that were either co-promoted or wholly promoted by GBP and Matchroom.
You’re one of the few people I respect that frequents this forum. It’s just that the articles you quoted were irrelevant to the debate.
I only want to focus on the claims that boxing_rocks made, which appear to be blatantly untrue. Please review his words again and then tell me otherwise.

Vanes II???
You know what.. Might as well just fight Hassan N'Dam..
He's not a bad boxer at all.. Not highly ranked at the moment and would be good for an upcomer, not for GGG but still a name.. not on GGG's record.
Also, he just won a fair decision against Martin Murray in Manchester.

Njikam is maybe a bit better than Adams? Or maybe not but defeating Murray at his home meant something. But what about Rob Brant??Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑03 Apr 2019, 14:51 Vanes II???

Re: Gennady Golovkin vs. Brandon Adams - June 8, 2019?
Is there a reason why so many lacklustre names are in the running for GGG’s debut on DAZN?
Is it a case of GGG Promotions or DAZN not wanting to spend money on big name opposition?
They seem to be scraping the barrel a bit by seeking easy prey, like “Vanes Martirosyan” type opposition, instead of anyone that poses at least a half-decent threat!

ndams not too bad but defo not interesting. we all want good opponents for ggg as he doesnt have much time left. unfortunetly it always seemed to me like it would be one lacklustre opponent and then a big fight, and i think then hes done.

I think dazn is trying to get subscriptions and finding Americans don't like boxing. So Canelo, ggg and aj showcases are supposed to get more subscribers to pay for bigger fights down the line and they aren't.
