I should think he can't be far off being done , will never cut it at SM elite level and can't seeing him coming back down .
Biggest problem is he couldn't fill a church hall .
Maybe one big last payday , but out of the top fighters at the weight who would entertain it ? .
One big payday is all he’s looking for.. he still hasn’t had that!
I suppose that's true , wonder what his biggest payday was , eubank Jr ?

Honestly think at 168 he doesn't even need to train to cut the weight. A great talent but you can only take it for granted for so long before your neglect catches up with you. Sooner or later he will lose to someone he should beat.
18 months ago I'd have given him a shot with anyone. Now I doubt he'd beat the top fighters. Hope he gets his chance and proves me wrong. Fantastic talent.

He's in the wrong division, both in terms of natural weight and also where the big fights are likely to come from. For me i think go back dowm to 160 for andrade. Andrades still looking for his defining fight, they need each other. Might be a bit of a stinker but i think andrade beats him.

I think I’ve read he got $750k last night and a million Canadian dollars against Lemieux.

We have a grand total of 4 "world" champions and one of them fights in the USA and we have no round by round and one thread that has limped to almost three pages in 6 weeks. Says it all. Not even hardcore fans give a fck anymore
Maybe it's this forum the hardcore aren't arsed about ?

Not bad money for someone who lives in a caravan.

Did BJ even train for this or it is just the weight jump? Coceres wasn't that bad, but Saunders could have ended it fast.

The money comes too easy. If you can 750 grand for that match why where's the incentive to push harder? That's huge money for anybody let alone one for the purists like Billy.

DAZN is certainly putting the money down atm, but is it sustainable?
Many have ridiculed PBC in the past and they seem to still be doing it.
BJS gets 750K
Haney gets a cool 1 mill
Thats big bucks
Tevin Farmer is a multimillionaire lol
Tevin wants 5-6 mill to cross the street, DAZN will give Tank 5-6mill+ to fight Farmer
FFS who even knows who Farmer is??? He is the luckiest bloke in the sport, right place right time.
Davis should take the coin and give him a whooping lol, that is just way too easy I don't understand why he hasn't?
Davis must seceretly be pissed off with Floyd/PBC for holding him back surely?

PBC aren’t doing it anything like they used to.
Leo Santa Cruz used to be on undercards 3 or 4 times a year earning 900k against Jose Ramirez and co who’d make 50k (confirmed purses as they have to release this info in most states in the us.) Lee Selby got 600k in Arizona.
This ain’t happening anymore.
Dazn aren’t doing it on that level. I don’t think Tevin Farmer is a multi millionaire at all. Yeah the Tank fight would do big money but I haven’t seen any purse info for him but I’d guess for his fights he’s getting about 400-600k for the fights he’s been having in the last 15 months.

PBC main guys are still getting good pay days just less of them.
Hearn and Tevin have been saying he has been getting million dollar pay days.
Reckons Tevin has been making more than Tank.
Obviously if Tank is a multi millionaire Tevin would have to be too.
If Haney just got 1 mill to fight a nobody, I would not be surprised if Tevin has too it's believable.
Tevin and Tank is a shit fight, Tank will annihilate him.
PBC won't cough up the dough for that fight but DAZN will apparently.
Crazy money

Don’t know if you seen the (IFL) interview with Farmer ?
He pulls bundles of cash out his pocket - £20-30k and says to Tank I don’t need derisory offers - I get paid millions. Actually comes across as bit of a flash c*nt giving it billy big baws - Hearn/Frank Smith and 1 other were in interview - even they were like put that away.
When they ask him how much to fight on other channel he says 4.5m/5m.
He’s had 5 fights in 12 months - he’s likely had 2-3m from DAZN for these bouts minimum.

Yeah did see that.
Tevin talking about buying properties cash lol pretty hilarious.
It is a bit of good publicity for matchroom because it peaks interest for fighters wanting to make a buck.
At the same time fighters will be like if Tevin gets that I want this.
Could just be smoke and mirrors though.
Before AJ fought Parker Eddie was talking like Parker was ducking a mega deal.
Parker then negotiated up a little and supposedly got more than a 30% split.
AJ was meant to make £15-20mill for the fight, if that was true Parker was meant to make mega coin supposedly around $12mill US.
As soon as Wilder heard that he obviously wanted more. Hearn instantly said $12mill ffs Parker didn't get half of that lol.
So what was the truth?

Have to disagree with you there mate, we know how to beat Eubank now. Movement and jab. I think bjs makes it easy a second time. People (rightfully) knock billy, but what's Eubank really done since they fought? Feasted on the ghost of degale.
Eubank fought Groves in the WBSS in an exciting fight and made a load of money,he is far more popular and well known then BJS and is rarely in a boring fight.BJS may well beat him easily if they fought again but that could be said about any fighter having rematches if they employ different tactics, the fact is they fought at Saunders true weight and it could have easily gone Eubank's way on the cards .Eubank beating DeGale is better than BJS picking up this vacant supermiddle title and then making a poor American debut.
You can paint it however you want if you are playing that game. Let me have a go....BJS medalling at the Olympics, the winning British, commonwealth, European titles (and cleaning house domestically), then holding established trinkets at 2 weights (and going undefeated in the process), is more impressive than jnr winning an IBO strap and a WBA interim. Beating Andy Lee and Lemieux (in his own back yard) is more impressive than feasting on the corpses of Abraham and Degale. See? Simple.
And for what it's worth, there's no way the fight could 'easily' have gone Eubanks way when BJS sailed the first 5.

He didn't medal at the Olympics
He's world class at MW for sure, though has just scraped by a lot, and not simply vs overmatched opposition. So so many times. He is good , but the Lemieux fight has too many seeing him as some type of maestro master boxer.

Who would win, Isufi or the corpses of Degale and AA? BJS' 168 title fights have been total weak sh!t, let's be honest. They are really irrelevant to his meaningful credentials. He's done well at MW no doubt though, a good line of wins there even if he was pushed in most of them. He should be fghting there let's be honest, some real good matchups for him there.

Can't really argue with that, but I'd still pick him vs jnr at either weight. And the night he fought chris, I'd pick isufi to do degale, he was totally a shell.

Split decisions can go either way can't they ?Saunders is a better all round fighter but he hasn't really showed that in recent years, many saying his best win is Lemieux who had been well beaten previously.I'm not saying an IBO title is better but compare each opponents last few fights,Eubank v DeGale,Eubank v Groves.........Saunders aginst 2 I can't even remember the names of and Adamu with his 14 losses, one being on the undercard of youtubers.BJS's British title run was impressive but Eubank beat some of them and in better fashion didn't he.

cut BJS a tadge of slack he was ill and jetlagged. He decided not to pull out as the show must go on. in retrospect it was an unwise decision.
but....
below par, flat...but still got the job done and the win against an unbeaten game fighter.

Surely there's no argument.
Whatever way you paint it Saunders' achievements are light years ahead of Eubank Jr's
