Whyte is good enough to pound out a tough decision. And tough enough to grit out the win when he gets hurt. Which he probably will. As his offensive skills have improved, he’s giving opponents good punching opportunities. I see an exciting fight. Hope he continues to double up that left hook.

I do like how his boxing has improved when motivated. He can navigate those 12 rounds pretty well.

Thing is I’ve got absolutely nothing against women’s boxing from a moral standpoint - power to them. But generally the bouts are very one sided (I don’t think this will be to be fair) and dull as dishwater. For it to be part of a PPV is a joke. It’s a Sky/Matchroom fantasy narrative that Katie Taylor is this massive attraction.

I was betting on Helenius revival after he crushed Teper. But he unfortunately failed vs Washington, whom I picked to be crushed by Helenius too. Anyway Helenius has just scored a big win, a truly big one. Hopefully he'll be more consistent now and make some other noise.

It also a good matchup. The controversial nature of their first bout and their close to each other positions in the rankings are for this fight.

Without checking, not sure what Chisora was for Helenius, but it kept him unbeaten.

Helenius also holds a satisfying victory over Erkan Teper.
