Josh is the most successful.
If he can stay at the weight comfortably then let the elite below step up.

personal biasOmerta wrote: ↑24 May 2021, 17:11Yes but prograis has turned out to be completely overrated and Ramirez is just an bang average wbo type world level fighter, he hasn't got any wins against elite opposition like Buchanan and lynch have. Also it's not a great division he has cleared out and every top guy in it that he has beaten have been very close fights that could of went either way.Liston Like Jab wrote: ↑24 May 2021, 08:51Hasn't he just beaten the two top guys in the division and is now clearly #1 in his division?Omerta wrote: ↑23 May 2021, 17:28 He hasn't even fought at elite level yet let alone won against an elite level opponent. He's still got time to do it but to say he his currently the greatest ever Scot is pushing it just now, it wasn't exactly a classic division he's cleaned out , prograis turned out to be well overrated , barancky was shown to be nothing more than a fairly decent level come forward brawler that suffered a hell of a ko defeat last year, and Ramirez was nothing more than a standard wbo type champion.

there's no way the ramirez fight could've gone either way either, the judges were generous to ramirez as it was and they still had it for jt

Because it probably sells tickets at first. As you move through the ranks it's a hindrance. Hatton and Bellew are staunch supporters but never alienated the other team.Allas wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 03:57Even down here in England I've never understood why boxers from 2 team cities clearly align themselves to one team. Has there been any SNP acknowledgment of his achievement? He's a massive nationalist so you'd think they'd
be all over this.
Don't watch much telly but i heard Tyson was on every brekkie show going after Wilder.

upbeat about hosting him.
Must be a bastard for Nicola not to be able to jump on his bandwagon, given his past indiscretions. Your new laws
would have in the big house nowadays.

It'd be interesting to see if Hatton would have been so popular if a United fan. City were shit, so i reckon peoplemickey1975 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 04:14Because it probably sells tickets at first. around the country appreciated he wasn't a glory-hunter. I only know a couple of Utd fans who loved boxing
but didn't embrace the Rickster. Mind you, they wouldn't even entertain any gigs at City's ground.
Does Warrington have plenty of Yorkshire fans despite the Leeds 'thing'?

Most of Yorkshire are Leeds fans, even with pro teams of their own.

Ricky was very clever in saying he was fighting for the whole of Manchester. Crolla is a huge Man Utd fan and they really got behind him in the end.

You're obviously not very clued up. Wednesday have good support from their own people. Not across Yorkshire. Have a look at attendances. Donny Whites, Bradford White, Hull Whites, Barnsley Whites, nearly everywhere up here has a 'Whites'.coghaugen11 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 05:14 Both Sheffield clubs have fan bases as big or bigger. I remember those big Wembley finals Sheffield Wednesday had in the early 90s against Man Utd and Arsenal - they’d sell their tickets faster than Utd and Arsenal.
Good side - two underrated players John Sheridan pulling the strings and David Hirst as a finisher. Danny Wilson seemed to pop up a lot.

What’s Danny Wilson doing now? He was a really good manager. Rumour was he was taking the Doncaster job.

Burnley could sell out Wembley for lower league play offs, and Stoke, Cardiff and loads of other clubs, its Wembley! Only Man City and Chelsea strugglecoghaugen11 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 05:22 I remember those big Wembley finals Sheffield Wednesday had in the early 90s against Man Utd and Arsenal - they’d sell their tickets faster than Utd and Arsenal.

Yeah, that's where the "in your cup final" chant was based on.mickey1975 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 05:33Burnley could sell out Wembley for lower league play offs, and Stoke, Cardiff and loads of other clubs, its Wembley! The 'bigger' teams are more blase about it now.

Wednesday could’ve filled it twice over. An all-Sheffield cup final you’re looking at four times over.mickey1975 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 05:33Burnley could sell out Wembley for lower league play offs, and Stoke, Cardiff and loads of other clubs, its Wembley! Wolves (4th division at that point) and Burnley did 80,000 for the sherpa van trophy final 1989. sold out really quickly too.mickey1975 wrote: ↑25 May 2021, 05:33Burnley could sell out Wembley for lower league play offs, and Stoke, Cardiff and loads of other clubs, its Wembley!
