Yeh, it was just Bellend shouting ringside, and all the post-fight nonsense. Even Hearn was saying it was close/Chis won.

Usyk is very good at getting a man into positions he doesnt want to be in,or feel comfortable boxing from

Very good fighter whos sheer technical ability can make a man doubt himself

However, tyson is a very good boxer himself, the bigger man & brings out the best version of himself when hes got a good good man in front of him, usyk is absolutely unreal and a real threat to anyone,a calm an composed man is dangerous in any setting, usyk has that about him 100% but i feel tyson again would rise to the occassion & get a win

2 very good fighters, hopefully boxing dont f**k it right up though & drain the life out of talking about it with no sign of making it & getting them in front of each othrr

Yes, because that's the reason I get accused of being obsessed. The topics are very relevant. If I constantly accused any AJ fan of being a wannabe black man I'd be rightly banned.
Keep posting, Mick! One of the best posters on the B and I! :salut:
No chance I'll quit for anyone. I'm used to it. I've had worse over the years! I think Tony must have had a good hiding from traveller's once!
Mick - you can look through my past posts, I have never said anything against Travellers; quite the opposite I'd say from memory.
If you take my critism o Fury as a slight against all Travellers then that's just odd.

And yes. I had on or two good hidings off Travellers when I boxed many years ago; unfortunately my less than world class boxing skills contributed to me also having quite a few good hidings of non Travellers too ..

at least he didnt have a vagina carved into his eye like tyson did vs wallin :yay:
Didn't he say he didn't perform his best on purpose against Chisora?

He's probably not joking.

He probably had to show some vulnerabilities..
He's that good he could deliberately look poor and convince most on here he had no chance against Joshua.

I don't. It's just every time I tip Fury, I get accused of it only being because he's a traveller. No, it's because I think he's very good. I've been proved correct.

I would argue that Tyson is too. For one of the least skilled HW champions in history to be able to put you down 4 times in fewer than 30 rounds is not a ringing endorsement of your Ali-esque technical prowess.

If Cunningham can put him down, Usyk definitely can, a few times. The shots you don't see etc...
It did help Wilder that he's a serious banger. Almost anyone would have gone down. Lennox would probably still be down.
Lewis would most likely battered Wilder before he got the chance. Lennoxs power is vastly underrated. Wilder would have left an opening early doors forced by Lewis ramrod jab.

God yeah, Lennox would have absolutely destroyed Wilder. He’d take him seriously and ko him within 2 rounds, maybe even 1 round, imo.

He's better than Rahman, Mercer, that Croatian, Akinwande, Briggs, Derek Williams, Mason plus loads more. Lets Let's not wear rose tinted glasses. He got his clock cleaned by two fringe top 10 lads and a favour in the Holyfield rematch.

No chance was wilder better than Mercer. Ray on his good nights would have destroyed Wilder. Holyfields a top ten heavyweight and one of the best fighter of all time. Wilder has a tremendous right hand and literally nothing else. Ffs you know your boxing man what you on about here. Your pants go on fire when it comes to Fury 🤦🏻‍♂️

Wilder is not better, he just has q bigger punch. He's beaten almost nobody of note in his entire career in a weak era.

Rahman and McCall could both box, wilder cannot.

The way the Chisora fight is used against Usyk is bizarre. He fought someone who he knew would come at him like crazy the first couple of rounds so he just got on his bike & moved around for 3 rounds & then on my card won every round after that.

Anybody who genuinely scored that to Chisora & wasn’t just blindly supporting their mate like Bellew doesn’t know what they’re watching.

As for Witherspoon, what more do you want Usyk to do? He’s not a knockout artist, he’s a boxer. Witherspoon didn’t come to win he just tucked up & tried to survive. Usyk’s never likely to stop a heavyweight early unless they come at him. He just went through the motions, didn’t take any daft shots & got the win.

Fury was fortunate in getting there first. It's insane to suggest he has a similar skill set to Usyk .. he is just very tall and very awkward. The 3rd Wilder fight was like a pub brawl .. a million miles away from the skills Usyk showed against Joshua.

Let's be honest. Fury is a freak of nature in that he is a slob that can fight, and has a great engine.
But he is a slob .. who right now believes his own hype.

I believe we have seen the best of Fury. His ego is at a place now he doesn't think he needs to train properly. Maybe Whyte will be the one in the right place at the right time.
He's a slob? You must be some man to call the heavyweight champion of the world a slob!
Fury would probably call himself a slob.

He stopped 1 person at a good level in 1! I watched his whole career. I haven't forgotten anything. I've said before he gets a free pass for being brutally knocked out, twice. If that was anyone else, they'd be useless. He was a great fighter, but to suggest Wilder wouldn't do as well as Sweet D Williams or McCrory is stupid.

I commented to start with because you named several of Lewis's opponents and claimed Wilder was better than all of them, that's what made me laugh as you can't really believe that, you're a respected poster on here but that was just madness.Don't talk about Lewis getting favours-John McDermott ?
