wouldnt surprise me if yokster took it if offered
Isn’t he making a million to fight journeymen? Hard to then take few hundred thousand for hrg. I’d be impressed if he took it, my guess is it will go down to kabayal…
In those days, Hrgovic wouldn't be a contender with that resume. It's maddening, but I still don't blame any of these names not taking the fight. Hrgovic can't draw flies, and no one will share a ring with him for peanuts. High risk, low reward fight because no one will care if you beat Hrgovic outside of the boxing forums. Ajagba/Sanchez didn't elevate either fighterPerkin Warbeck wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 20:31 And now Joseph Parker is ducking Hrgovic.

Gone are the days of heavyweights like Liston, Ali, Foreman, Frazier etc., heavyweight boxers who ducked no one.
Nowadays most of the heavyweights are chicken poop.
He, and his team knew this was coming, the winner of the Martin Ortiz fight would have to fight Hrgovic. It was known before the Martin Ortiz fight was even made. So signing to face Hrgovic was a given for the winner, they could have timed the fight for 3 months time, as long as they agreed to the fight.ironbeard wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 12:46 I agree with Bandog inasmuch as a three day deadline two days off a tough fight is suspicious, ridiculous, and should be laughed at.
A fighter should be thinking of nothing other than his health and recuperation for the time being, especially at the age of 62, or whatever Ortiz’s actual age is.
Maybe, or (like me) he chafes at ultimatums. Better yet, maybe he is going to retire while he still has the brain cells to decide for himself.KiwiRider wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 22:16He, and his team knew this was coming, the winner of the Martin Ortiz fight would have to fight Hrgovic. So in my mind it quacks like a duck, therefore it is a duck or duck impersonator
Yes, I'm sure money and age are his deciding factors. One maybe two more fights. He is so prime for the picking. If Charles Martin can dominate him and drop him twice, well so can at least half the boxrec top 12.ironbeard wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 22:20Maybe, or (like me) he chafes at ultimatums. They have been very clear that you don't get a shot at the belt without a final eliminator Vs Hrgovic.H8Usernames wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 23:11 Can't we look at things like Charles Martin got second place vs Luis Ortiz so since Ortiz and Parker don't want it maybe giving it to the runner up from Ortiz vs Martin is a good idea?
I think you are right Kaba is the only one who has nothing to loose. And he is as popular as Hrgovicgregregegg wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 21:16Isn’t he making a million to fight journeymen? Exactly...throw Charles Martin in there against Filip for that final eliminator.... he did after all get second place vs Ortiz didn't he?KiwiRider wrote: ↑06 Jan 2022, 00:41They have been very clear that you don't get a shot at the belt without a final eliminator Vs Hrgovic.H8Usernames wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 23:11 Can't we look at things like Charles Martin got second place vs Luis Ortiz so since Ortiz and Parker don't want it maybe giving it to the runner up from Ortiz vs Martin is a good idea?
