I can actually see this fight potentially being a tight 12 round heavyweight dust up.
I can equally also see it being a 12 round lake of sh1te.
Hopefully to god the BBC’s first foray back into boxing is not a damp squib.

Frank Warenn slams Boxxer for 'disrespectful' heavyweight date clash
Frank W has slammed Boxxer’s decision to launch their new venture with the BBC on the same night that Fabio Wardley takes on Joseph Parker.
Warren’s Queensberry Promotions announced the heavyweight clash between Wardley and Parker, who both hold interim versions of the world title, early last month with the pair set to meet on October 25 at London’s o2 Arena.
However, Boxxer have since confirmed that the British heavyweight title fight between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV in Derby will take place on the same night.
It will be the debut show of Boxxer’s new deal with BBC, with the main event set to take place live and free-to-air on BBC Two between 8 and 10pm on the 25th. Meanwhile, Wardley and Parker will fight on DAZN.
Now Warren has suggested that the decision to make the two heavyweight fight nights clash on the same date is disrespectful to boxing.
“What annoys me most is that they wouldn’t do it with football or with rugby,” Warren told The Ring.
“They just wouldn’t do it but that's how people treat boxing. That’s why we get annoyed with networks. And when you consider it’s the public broadcaster with the reach they’ve got, I just don’t think it’s correct.
“There’s no respect for the fans, no respect for the sport at all. They just don’t care. I think it’s good that they are back in the sport but work with the sport, not against the sport.
“You’re back in but the first thing you’re doing is creating a problem. That’s not what this should be about.”
October 25 will be the first live professional boxing shown on the BBC for more than two decades and kicks off their new venture with Boxxer.
There has been no official confirmation of the length of the deal, or how many guaranteed fight nights there will be per year, but Warren is adamant they could have found a date which would not clash with DAZN’s boxing output.
“It’s just disappointing that we’ve got a clash,” he added. “We thought we had done away with those days.
“And when you look at it, they’ve allegedly done a four-show deal so you’ve got 48 weekends of the year that you could have put it on. Instead they’ve clashed with the show we are putting on, which is a pain in the backside.
“But having said that, we have the best show. We have the best fighters, we have the winners, the guys who are on our show are the winners. Wardley knocked Clarke out.
“Our is also the most significant fight. It’s for the interim title so Oleksandr Usyk has to fight the winner and if he doesn’t do that he will vacate and the winner on October 25 becomes world champion.”

FW sounds rattled, putting on a poor PPV and now has to face terrestrial coverage on the BBC. If he was confident in his show selling he wouldn't be bothered

Agreed. If he put on a better card, made it cheaper and/or more accessible then he wouldn't have this issue.

It's great for boxing fans, a decent fight with jeopardy and free on the bbc.
He will be angry because he's probably about to lose a fortune by overpaying parker ond wardley in the expectation the ppv money would cover it.
Who in their right mind, and not from ipswich, would be shelling out for his fight now.

You guys should all watch the BBC and give them the ratings so this venture looks like continuing.
Let's just hope TKV has trained properly and doesn't gas after 5 rounds.
As for Fwank- put on a decent card and stop taking the proverbial

Embarrassing from Warren.
He announced Wardley’s last fight on the same night as Callum Simpson’s fight which was already announced weeks earlier.
I can’t remember Shalom moaning about that.
All of a sudden it’s an issue two promoters having shows on the same night

Francesca Hennessy will fight former atomweight world champion Fabiana Bytyqi in the main support bout.
Not exactly a great one , I just find these match ups all look the same , jab , right cross , miss with hook and grab each other. Then repeat for 10 rounds. Oh look it's gone to points.

I haven't got a TV license because I despise them, so it'll be a no from me.

Crikey I thought the Parker Wardley fight was dire, then I checked on this one.
A tiny chick fight as second to the main event.
And five fights makes up the whole card
Boxxer- you need to do better.

The money won’t be there buddy.
Clarke reportedly has a pretty big guarantee in his deal so, given the relatively low rights fee they’ll be getting, there won’t be much left over.
I was always expecting a small undercard to save money but I was expecting a better co-main. Women’s sport is heavily pushed by the BBC but if people start on the co-main it could cause people to switch off.

My concerns too. Also if TKV hasn't it the cardio in.
You would think, this being the flagship show, that it might be a little more encouraging Some of the fights might turn out better than they are on paper. You never know.
I really hope it goes well.

Frazer Clarke-Jeamie TKV undercard: Hennessy to face former world champ; Jack Massey returns
Francesca Hennessy, from Kent, England, is set for a showcase on British television on the October 25 undercard of the British heavyweight title fight between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV. The 20-year-old, 6-0 (1 KO) and dubbed as the “Billion Dollar Baby”, will step up to 10-round level against the more experienced former WBC atomweight champion Fabiana Bytyqi, 22-2-2 (5 KOs). The bantamweight contest will be broadcast live on BBC 2 and BBCiPlayer.
“It’s a new age,” said Hennessy of the chance to fight in front of a huge broadcast audience inside Derby’s Vaillant Arena. “I want people to look back and say this was the night the next generation arrived.”
Bytyqi, 29, became the first female world champion from Czechia when claiming her world belt in 2018. She would reign until last year and is coming off a loss to Seren Cetin, which occurred as recently as September.
Also on the bill is Redcar’s Bobby Dalton, 11-0 (2 KOs), who defends his English welterweight title against Dagenham’s Southern Area champion Joel Kodua, 9-0 (2 KOs).
Manchester’s Mauro Silva, 9-0 (4 KOs), encounters a step up against Coventry’s Bradley Goldsmith, 13-1 (9 KOs), in a middleweight eight-rounder. The 23-year-old Silva is managed by Chris Eubank Jnr while Goldsmith, 27, trains out of Sheffield’s Ingle Gym.
Jack Massey, who was outgunned 12 months ago in a bid for Jai Opetaia’s IBF cruiserweight title, returns to take on Argentina’s Ivan Gabriel Garcia, 10-4-1 (10 KOs).

It demonstrates that the BBC isn't putting a lot of money in
Shalom's budget has been slashed, British title main event, and an undercard where even the hardened anoraks are scratching their heads.
I dunno how much of the bill will be shown, but more than ever good fights are necessary

I think it's only five fights aimed as a complete broadcast. There doesn't appear to be any prelims or YouTube stuff.

Ben Schlong isn't good for the game, but W@rren would do exactly the same thing if the roles were reversed. So put a sock in it Frank !
The main event is totally uninspiring. This TMV fella is poor grade stuff, but hopefully Clarke can up his game and bomb him out, so at least the BBC can say it was explosive action.
The chief support is terrible, but right up the BBC's alley
The other few fights might actually be ok. There appears to be 2 competitive match-ups and I personally enjoy watching Jack Massey.

It’d be good if the tiny chick belt on the line is upgraded to full tiny chick undisputed status.

Carl Thompson vs Rothman, Carl Thompson vs Haye, Clinton Woods vs Hoye and others.
There was some good stuff. Just none of it involved Audley which is where the bulk of the cash went.

Yeah. Walker was in some good fights on the BBC. Am I right in thinking Eastman vs Hopkins was on the bbc too?
