If Witter had of kept winning...putting more and more pressure on Hatton...then yes you`d be spot on.....but well we know what happend.

Yes I`d have liked to see them fight..but i wont take it personally because they didnt, I still enjoy watching Hatton fight(more than Witter).

I go under the guise of a library worker who has an interest in the sport. Pull your finger out and watch your guy fight and stop crying all the time about the fact he could not force the fight.

As for ass licking Manchester fight figures, read back, I advocate Hatton in certain ways and disagree with his actions recently. Go and find a reputable source for that 2004 claim and put your dummy back in while you are at it.

Has Hatton's career suffered post-Floyd? His reputation got hammered, he was slaughted on here by many only for the glorious irony of a Witter loss, to a novice, to come through. I pay due attention to the sport and noticed that in some cases it brings what is just. Hatton went to pubs and working mens clubs for years telling people who he was and when he fights, generally promoting himself, he is now reaping the benefits. Witter hammered a bunch of guys who were there to be hammered but consistently threw few punches in his big fights, went to 12-round uninspired wins and looked like he spent most of his in-ring time waiting to grab the nearest onlooker and tell them how unjust this all has been on him.

Was a bit of a twat so edited the original post. We'll agree to differ, again, and I'm taking three months or so off from boxing, apart from working with one fighter and his trainer, so no hard feelings and I'll resume hostilities with you at Chrimbo.
