Agreed.
I compared him to Kiko Martinez and I reckon he'll meet the same fate when he meets a half decent boxer, and I'll probably get good odds against him like I did FOR him tonight!
To hear the Sky panel say that Prescott could be an all time great based on 54 seconds with Khan was the most laughable thing I've ever heard. Not that I'm complaining, my pocket is a little bit heavier than it was this morning.

I didn't say world championship material. Frankie's traded-in for better fuel economy, is all.
Or to put it another way: as a bloke weighing 147 I'd much rather face Khan*. Prescott is pretty limited - he'll be taken apart by a mover, yet that power will concern almost everyone at lightweight. I think we all know what would happen with Prezza vs. Pac-Man.
*You either knock him down, or take a few flurries on the gloves if your luck's not in. It's one of the least risky fights going. (Unless your name's Willie.)

Nah, no way Frankie deliberately folds the Khan card. Even if you protected him to the hilt and cashed in for big money against Ricky Hatton, you'd make more in that one fight than 20 Prescott fights.

He did it quicker than I thought he would. After Limond, it seemed obvious that if Khan stepped in the ring with a puncher, he'd get knocked out.

That's true, but I think Warren decided he couldn't wrangle any longer. Khan's stock was rapidly falling going into this fight; how many more cans would Joe Public have tolerated on the road to Hatton?
Someone on this forum made the keen observation that Frank used to look so relaxed at Hamed's fights, in comparison to his appearances ringside for Amir. Prescott does strike me as a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type. A reliable, quality performer. Unquestionably, he has the brighter professional future of the two.

Yes i have noticed that about warren, I have always said khan was chinny, now i didnt see the fight but the guy is only 21 so this is a minor blip, i know there are going to be fools shouting that khan is finished, but an unbeaten record means little the true judgment is how well he can come back. This is from a non khan fan ( good luck lad)

Prescott is nothing special, he just can punch...I kept saying Khan was lucky to be put in against mediocre british national level competition but it became obvious that he was easy to floor and it was just a matter of time befor he would get KTFO.
I didn't even have to watch any of Prescott footage, I predicted this upset as soon as I saw Prescott's KO record.
Prescott isn't good, Khan has just no defense at all and no chin either, he has no future as a pro if he doesn't change his training.

I'm another who's not convinced by Prescott. Yes, he can punch hard, but I'd like to see a bit more of him against some more durable types who punch back.
John Murray sounded p1ssed off on Radio 5 that Khan lost, if Murray's up for it I wouldn't mind seeing John let loose on Prescott. I think Murray will show that Prescott is beatable...even by top British level.

Well Khan was right when he said it would be a mismatch!
Egg on SKY and Frankie's face. The new deal is shattered straight away. Prescott is another Martinez, nothing special, hard puncher who caught Khan after the Bolton man tried to go to war.
Who was right in the SKY studio? McCrory and Piper, the establishment boys trying to talk up Prescott or Nelson looking at Khan trying to go to war.

Piper was actually itching to say that Khan has no chin...I could see him really wanting to.

Piper winds people up with his assertions, but he's nearly always right. He was the only TV pundit who didn't give Tyson a chance against Lewis, as I recall.
I don't think McGuigan's answering his phone.

Ah yes, in all the excitement I forgot about Khans no.1 cheerleader

well least DG was right to criticise my long fight theory.
in my defence it was difficult to tell what this prescott was all about from the 2 rds of footage.
looked bloody slow in that fight didn't he.
all pinpoint and fast against khan though.

The last fight was in America against someone Prescott probably hadn't seen before. I'm not saying what's happened isn't a big surprise, of course.

Watch Prescott's right hands after the first knockdown.
They were telegraphed from a mile away.Flailing away like an amatuer.
IF he had thrown a proper straight shot he could have really wrecked Khan there.
