Khan vs Prescott - predictions?

Post by Asterix »

I don't think I've heard any predictions for this fight yet. How do you think it will go?

Also, here's a video of Prescott training, courtesy of allegedlyfrankwarren.com: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Op2aIR3clQg

PPV aside, this could be a good fight, the columbians are usually hard as nails and he can obviously bang

it aint easy scorring 17 ? out of 19 by KO, regardless who you fight, he MUST be a hard hitter

prediction ??? i give up pridicting on Khan, he is 'unpredicatable'

Obviously as someone who is boycotting the fight I am hoping for a poor spectacle.

I honestly think Prescott looks too slow though, and off balance when he loads up. Pot-shot city for Khan I expect.

Yes, but how? I've heard that Prescott has bad defense, so I'm guessing at a mid round KO.

Yeah, I was a little shocked at how slow and sluggish he looked. Not that I expected much ...

I predict Warren knew what he was doing and that Prescott is CRAP!

No way does Fwank put Khan in wth any decent unknowns OR known.

Khan KO1 ( I will not buy a Khan PPV against an unknown and if he is KNOWN - he better be GOOD)!

Fiddly diddly diddly diddly deeeeee!

Top of da morning to ya!

Physically, Prescott reminds me a little of an early Naz opponent, Daniel Alicea, who was lanky and undefeated with a high KO %age. He was the first to deck Naz and did so in round 1 by utilising his long reach, only for Naz to starch him in the second. Khan, of course, doesn't have Hamed's recuperative powers or his chilling finishing ability, so, if Prescott were of a similar calibre to Alicea, things might get interesting. Big "if", though, as we really know bugger all about him!

If he were anything like Daniel Alicea then he would not be in the ring with Khan, imo.

Countdown to Khan tonight at 9.30pm on SKY Sports1

Have a look and listen to all the rubbish!

It'll probably be an early stoppage I should imagine. I wouldn't rule out a first rounder but I hope he wins a very awkward and boring decision - perhaps his next fight will not be on PPV, especially if they numbers are low in his first outing.

Khan TKO2 after having Prescott down twice in the first.

I have never seen him fight and his record is very misleading.

I would love to see Prescott by Ko but exopect Khan ko 6 most likely.

I dunno what this Prescott fella is like - Those two rounds on youtube don't show much other than he's quite slow, and doesn't use the jab.

He does have a reasonable straight right, which Khan has always been open too, but it's unlikely Prescott is a true danger to Khan.

Dioufy,
Dream on mate.
All of Khan's fights will be PPV.
It's the only way Wazza could meet his demands.
That's why his record will become more and more padded.
Wazza can't risk his cash cow.
After all, who else has he got ?
