December wasn’t the ideal time, but he would have taken the fight because it was too good an opportunity to miss.

Now that opportunity isn’t there (if it ever was) courtesy of your heroes arbitrary deadlines, he can revert back to his ideal schedule.
His ideal schedule was fighting this year but someone setting a deadline has "increased the mental pressure of being AJ". In other words he bottled it.
No… his ideal schedule was maybe next year, but he would have changed that for the opportunity to fight Fury…
"I spoke to Eddie (Hearn) and asked him if it's possible to get out in November because momentum is important in boxing. Eddie said December. If it's about who I fight, it's come one, come all. Whoever wants it can get it, I don't mind" - Anthony Joshua

How long did it take you to dig that out? Link? Date? Are people allowed to change their viewpoint on something at any time?

The whole point here is that, just because AJ wants to wait until March to fight now, doesn’t mean you can definitely say he didn’t want to fight in December.

You have kind of proved the point here that he would have been prepared to fight on that date.

Joshua could have/should have proved the point, but his duck will be talked about years from now.

I hope this fight bombs. You can’t even put glitter on this turd, the fights a joke and everyone can see it. I think frank is hoping that Tysons pulling power alone will get him the buys he wants but I think Tyson is on the slide at the minute( popularity wise) due to his Joshua saga.

For what it’s worth Fury is still No1 to me and I do like him but you got to call it how you see it and he’s doing his own self no favours

You really are in a Fury echo chamber if you think people are talking about AJ ducking the fight today, let alone years from now.

Do you remember when Fury gave up titles rather than fight David Price?

The only thing we can be certain about is that one or both ducked. Be that by way of offering insulting conditions, stepping away from reasonable ones, or mutually withdrawing in the knowledge those outcomes could be alleged both ways.

None of us saw the contract/s; none of us were privy to the talks. The fight should've happened but didn't, and I blame the current boxing industry.

Imagine Chisora had some draws instead of wins. At least 3-4 losses would have been draws.. The latest Pulev bout as well.

Could be: 32(23) 8 5

Better than what it is now..

I aprprechiate what you're saying, but Del would still have the same amount of miles on the clock.

Maybe I'm being a bit negative, but.......

Del's best wins.

Sam Sexton.
Danny William (shot to pieces with 8 losses)
Malik Scott (who's best win was Bowie Tupou)
Edmund Gerber (lost to Michael Sprott two fights earlier)
Ondrej Pala (lost to Konstantin Airich three fights earlier)
Kevin Johnson (lost to Christian Hammer in the previous fight and Manuel Charr after it)
Carlos Takam (had already lost comprehensively to Povertkin, Parker and Joshua)
Artur Szpilka (best win against a 37 year old Adamek)
David Price (already been stopped six times)
Kubrat Pulev (41 years old)

Chisora is probably the best gatekeeper in the heavyweights last 10 years or so. From Domestic gatekeeper to world.

True Geordie is an out and out chancer, as is his little shifty looking sidekick that normally sits with him. if you've heard about him before this latest Fury interview then you'd already know he got cancelled after private messages where leaked of him trying to chat some bird up asking her to shit on him.

The blokes a raging narcissist, he's interviewed himself about 3 times on his own podcast - No. I'm not joking.

He's right about this fight though

I remember when he fought him for a meal ticket and a trophy so no doubt it was business that stopped it yet again that time.

Fury had a choice, fight his mandatory or be stripped. He chose the latter. Fury ducked Price, even you have to admit that, although I'm sure you won't.

I have no idea what went on behind the scenes. They didn’t box, though, I know that. Whatever happened proved a great move for Fury.

Behind the scenes? Fury refused to fight his mandatory and gave up the British title rather than fight David Price. That sir, is a duck. Fury could have taken the fight, but chose not to. His decision, he avoided David Price.
