Every one needs to move on and when the fight is signed, they can let us all know.

Why doesn't he go the whole hog and get a Union Jack behind him ?....
Really like this Wilder v Whyte on undercard and Joyce v Usyk. Hell, I might even be tempted to buy it.JimJim2009 wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 10:44 If I were Eddie, I would publicly offer Deontay a massive purse to fight on the AJ/Fury undercard, chief support, for a bumper payday with a 2022 title shot on the table too. Everyone wins. Deontay turns 36 in October, not ancient for a heavyweight but he's not getting any younger or better. They should offer to make him a part of the promotion. It would up the ante on Deontay, who has to be careful as he shredded his credibility since losing to Fury and will really become a black sheep of the sport if he is the reason why Fury vs AJ does not go ahead this summer. Short of landing a hayemaker, he would lose again to Fury and be finished at the top level, and would be regarded not too well as he headed into retirement.
Ordinarily there wouldn’t be enough money for that kind of undercard but with there apparently being $5 million for the undercard one of those fights could definitely be made there. I’d say Joyce and Usyk would take a million dollars each for their interim title fight.Roco wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 11:21Really like this Wilder v Whyte on undercard and Joyce v Usyk. Usyk’s been on big money. $1m wouldn’t be enough for him. He would have probably got double that to fight Chisora.jameswilson wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 11:59Ordinarily there wouldn’t be enough money for that kind of undercard but with there apparently being $5 million for the undercard one of those fights could definitely be made there. Well, I was a schoolboy boxer, trained at York, then followed my friend to Hunslet which had 5 champions in. Also sparred at St Pat's with my close friends. Been in the dressing room at British, commonwealth, European and world title fights.... taken my nephew to spar at Vulcan in Hull, if you want to talk about deprived areas, with undefeated pro Sonny Taylor.... my username isn't a mystery.....Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 07:13 Mind your business Mickey and stop derailing threads all the time.
Welcome to my ignore list.
Depends what he can get, 5 million and no promise of a fight obviously not, 25 million and a promise of fight by say summer 2022... then fornicate take a few tune ups...Roco wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 09:25 Don't see the point in Wilder taking step aside money. If Joshua and Fury have two fights he would be left waiting and also If Joshua beats fury he takes the belt and then no point in fighting Fury, unless he can definitely guarantee a crack at the winner of Josh/Fury.
If he accepts the step aside money with no guarantee of facing winner then I would say that he doesn't care about being the champ or knows he is not the bestgregregegg wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 21:24Depends what he can get, 5 million and no promise of a fight obviously not, 25 million and a promise of fight by say summer 2022... then fornicate take a few tune ups...Roco wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 09:25 Don't see the point in Wilder taking step aside money. There is no right or wrong answer on step aside or not, until you know the exact deal. what if the saudi prince thought losing this fight would make him look weak so just threw a laughable 50 million step aside at wilder? Still wouldent see a point?
If the court of arbitration force the WBC to mandate it then it may go to purse bids. Not sure if Wilder is still with Haymon, but if he is then I imagine he will put in a solid bid and Wilder will still get paid well.
Yeah give him Babic , 1 or 2 round or i quit boxing says Savage
I’m sure they knew it was a possibility but they likely thought it was remote. Every single interview Bob’s done in the last 9 months discussing Fury he’s said that’s it’s not an issue and won’t stop them from fighting someone else/AJ - he was wrong and Tyson should be fuming about it.
