Slick boxer with limited power from the UK.
Colin suffered an early defeat in his career but built up quite a winning streak prior to that.
He suffered some kind of shoulder dislocation against Palacious and then lost to Steve Robinson.

But there was a period that McMillan was a talked about guy if I remember.

The early loss was on cuts in a fight he was winning (we don't have tds over here) and then he looked sensational in winning the British title and cruising to a Lonsdale Belt outright. He equally romped to the WBO title over Italy's Maurizio Stecca, a former Olympic champ, but suffered a serious dislocated shoulder against Colombia's Ruben Palacios in his first defence (shades of Gabriel Ruelas) and had to be rescued. He came back for a while but he was never the same. The shoulder affected his future form. At his best McMillan had all the moves, not much power, but speed, slickness and genuine world class. A fight with Paul Hodkinson would have been a classic.
Palacios, incidentally, was never the same either after their fight. He picked up the HIV-virus in his post-fight celebrations in Colombia and that was that.
