Sibson, Andries and............Mr T!
Just watched Andries v Sibson, very easy to notice Mr.T posing behind the boxers being interviewed in the ring post fight by Gary Newbon.
Anyone have any idea what he was doing there?

No, that`s definately Bill.
Re: Sibson, Andries and............Mr T!
Now this is VERY interesting....
I used to know a guy who I'm sure was Billy and he did pro-wrestling under the name of Big T. Seeing as he was a boxing fan it sounds like it could be him. Think he wrestled in the World Of Wrestling and possibly Hammerlock and/or other independents.

Andries defending his title against Tommy Hearns in Detroit a short while later ranks as one of the worst pieces of management EVER. I believe he did not even pick up a great purse but he reinvented himself in Tommy's owm gym and showed true character to win back the title twice.

I always liked Andries - he deserved every bit of success he had, he earned it.

Does anybody know who the ENORMOUS dude was who used to be seen ringside at Audley Harrison's early BBC fights? Always dressed in black, as wide as he was tall, with a completely shaved back and sides and small hi-top hairdo. Assumed he was something to do with security, but never wore the uniform. My brother reckons he was on a "Britain's hardest men" type documentary. Built a bit like the wrestler Big Daddy V/Viscera.

Anyone know what Dennis is up to now? Loved the Harding trilogy - a real warrior.
Re: Sibson, Andries and............Mr T!
that was probably Joe Young that boxed for repton, Audley would follow hm on the way to the ABA finals, till he got KO'd by Billy Bessey!! drives a bus but making a comeback soon..

No, it definitely wasn't Joe Young, who I know. Seriously, this guy dwarfed even Joe and Audley and he wasn't built like a boxer. If he did any sport, with his physique it could only conceivably be wrestling, which made me think of him in this thread.ERIC GUY wrote:that was probably Joe Young that boxed for repton, Audley would follow hm on the way to the ABA finals, till he got KO'd by Billy Bessey!! drives a bus but making a comeback soon..
