Fantastic, British title haha. Nothing against Enzo but all former doghouse members will remember his annoying cheerleader/best mate Reeso who was so blind about Enzo it was ridiculous which kinda make you cheer his opponents just to shut reeso up!!!

Macaroni HAD potential. He had the size and basic ability to do well, it just needed to be developed more. But he was happy to sit and home and fight bums. The likes of Afolabi went and took hidings from James Toney to learn the ins and outs of the game. Trained and sparred with the best in the game continually. Enzo fought bum after bum and thought he was the cheese. His chin is shit but Hayes isn't much better and we've seen fighters with poor chins doing well in the game. Enzo could have been way better than he was but he will always be remembered as the chicken dancer of his time.

Sadly there's a lot of truth in that.

Isn't Lebedev with Frank Twat? I am sure I've seen him on some of his shows.

Lebedev has stopped his last three (questionable quality?) and he is a southpaw. Looks like a potential "upset" could be on the cards here.

The East Europeans are usually well schooled and hard sorts. Might be interesting. If he loses, we will see him in Cage Rage 131

Lebedev stopped Eliseo Castillo in his last fight, not a bad win at all. Lines could be close on this one. I'm surprised Enzo is being put straight back into a fight like this - looks like hes just being fed to the wolves.

Would Enzo get credit if he beat this fella?

just watched this guy on youtube, he looks seriously handy. Where's his fanfare been? Anyway, he seems like too much of a live body to lose to Enzo, I'm calling the upset. Frankie is feeding Big Macc to the wolves!

agreed RB, i used the phrase 'another banana skin placed in Enzo's path by his considerate promoter' when telling my mate of the match

by the way, i think Rob Norton would comfortably outbox Enzo. yes, I do.

Lebedev was a very promising talent before his 4 year hiatus from pro bouts. I think Lebedev is quite short for a cruiserweight (possibly 5' 9" / 5' 10"?), so it will be interesting to see what kind of height & reach advatanges Maccarinelli has. Lebedev will come to win, that's for sure.

So i'm guessing Macca will get a lot of credit if he wins this?

I doubt it, because hardly any of us know just how good Lebedev is. His record so far has earned him a ranking of 88th in the World by Boxrec. On that basis, you'd expect Maccarinelli to win comfortably. I think Big Macc will only get proper credit if he wins a World title again.

I never really rated him, he seems like a really nice bloke, but I thought he was been taken down the WBO route, wasn't good enough to mix with the elite.
