Prizefighter draw

Post by alexpaterson »

Dean Francis vs Neil Simpson
John Keetan vs Bruce Scott
Terry Dunstan vs Ovill McKenzie
Micky Steeds vs Darren Corbett

Good fights should be a good night of boxing still fancy Francis best Prizefighter yet IMO

I can see this being the most dramatic Prizefighter tournament yet. Not many places left to go for the losers after this.

Francis

Or maybe the complete opposite.

I know the losers have nowhere to go after this the fights are so close and could go either way i would say the fight i would put money on is the veteran Dunstan vs McKenzie i think Dunstan will still have enough to beat McKenzie

Steeds v Corbett should be fun :box:

As others have said, Francis to win it.

Why is it on a Tuesday? Surely that he got to hurt the live gate?

I was thinking exactly the same thing. The last one was a tuesday too, the lightweights. Although i don't know what the viewing figures were like, it definitely got less attention than the others, both on here and in the media.

Indeed, approaching 40, a long period of inactivity and coming off a loss (or any combination of those) seem to be a prerequisite for participation

Given the styles and punch power of some of the contestants it promises to be the most entertaining Prizefighter yet, but ‘not one for the purists’ as they say

Shows the moribund state of the cruisers if this line up is the best Hearn could put together

Any idea who the two substitutes are yet, has this been announced ?

Given that McKenzie a lightheavy has replaced Krence in the main draw, I can't imagine the subs will be too inspiring !

It's a cracking line-up for the format, I cant wait.

Actually, I think it will be a sell-out with thousands locked out. Who on earth would want to endure watching that grinning, gurning goon on Sky Sports and the ex-cruiser double act of Glen & Johnny desperately trying to give the event gravitas.

I would pay £100 to get beyond that appalling prospect.
