Only reason i see zab taking this fight is to beat matthew bad and intice ricky into a big money grudge match.

However that said, did anyone see Judah's last fight against Ernest Johnson on the Calzaghe v Jones undercard?

If he fights anything like that, Hatton could pull it off
Matthew Hatton has no chance mate, there is virtually no hope, which is why the fight wouldn't happen. Ricky would also get KO'd very quickly against Judah.

Anderson Muttley Nuumbembe Jennings....he's been linked with all that lot....now Judah. Can't see it myself.
If he did though I expect he'd get decent money 20-50k?? maybe more? I'm not sure... probably get slapped a few times and then stay down......then say he had an "off" night and want a rematch.

if he got comfortably turned over by Watson at domestic/ C'wealth level...what would he be doing fighting a man who for 11 rounds or more was going to war with Cotto and holding his own for lots of it.

For me, Judah and Khan are really the only routes back for Ricky to get near the big leagues again.

I would say Khan is the only route back. Hatton better hope Khan beats Kotelnik to set up a big fight between himself and Khan for a title. Judah would be far too dangerous I think and I think we might see Pacman vs Hatton part 2 if he fights Judah.

Yes, Judah has the speed and power to KO Hatton, but Ricky has the power to put a big tend in Judah also... and Judah isn't mentally strong.

I just think it is a fight that Judah will probably want and the US public would probably consider "realistic" in terms of it being 50:50. Judah is still a bigger name than Bailey, the only other 50:50 fight for Ricky.

The rest of them Ricky has either dealt with comfortably (Urango, Malignaggi etc) so won't be considered competitive, or people will consider a league above Ricky - Cotto, Mosley, etc.

I know, but Judah vs Matthew Hatton will either

1) Not happen or

2) Not be interesting/competitive.

PLease tell me we're not going to hear Matthew describing himself as a PPV fighter now. He'll get badly beaten if this comes off.

I truly belive Matthew Hatton's Vegas undercard days are over. If big brother isn't on the bill what's the point.

Maybe this rumour is being put out to try and judge if there's anyway he can pick up any of Ricky's supporters if he never fights again.
