Re: The Truth
I would like to see Ward fighting someone in the class of Hopkins before calling him great same with Kessler and Froch not great yet but good fighters but Calzaghe, Williams and Hopkins are great IMO

I don't get this, what was the point of this thread....
I'd rather it have been about Carl Williams.

Very strange list....Superheavyweight wrote:1. Bernard Hopkins (Great)

6. Mikkel Kessler (Great)
Paul Williams is'nt great, and neither are Kessler, Froch and Ward. I would even have my doubts against Calzaghe. He had four big fights in his career, Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins and Jones. Kessler is very good, put has'nt fought anyone that called be called an "elite" fighter, apart from Joe obviously. Lacy was well over-rated and Hopkins and Jones were well past there primes and p4p status when Calzaghe fought them. Maybe Calzaghe's win against Hopkins(I still have Hopkins wining that fight by a round) looks better, now that he has beaten Pavlik, but i would'nt personally say that Calzaghe is one of the greats, but he is certainly a lot closer to it than most of the fighters you have mentioned on your list.
