Remember watching him with interest as he climbed the ratings, his massive support in Hartlepool was brilliant and the atmosphere at his fights was outstanding, but since his defeat to Molitor a couple of years back and things have been a bit sluggish. He's had three fights since, two of which have been against tame opposition, and nothing since last december.

Does anyone know what happened to him? Did he lose heart with the sport are being beaten (pretty badly). I'd love to see him back.

He retired, but he's supposedly making a comeback, but I've not heard owt on that for a while

hmm. i'd view that fight with something like a rubberneckers' eye. first i think i'm not sure what Esh has got left. then i think Hunter's unlikely to have looked after himself that well. i'd watch it, but with an air of foreboding dread. I'd like Esh to get the chance for revenge anyway i always said Hunter would get his ears boxed off by Esh

well, thats what makes the fight interesting, and maybe as a support fight for a main event, i just hope someone somewhere realises how much esham wants this.
