£10 each on round ten and eleven KO for Clottey at 40/1.

What do you think, lads?

Cotto will smash him, Clottey is being over-rated in my opinion.

I don't. He's got an air tight defense and is very tough. Cotto may outwork him, but I don't think it will be easy. Can't see Clottey knocking Cotto out though.

Clottey is another Quartey type, tight guard, strong as an ox, good basic fundamentals, but no real change of pace or a big dig and his own stamina isnt great. I think Cotto outworks him but doesn't look great doing so

I think Cotto wins this but Clottey is durable and tough enough to last the course. I still think that if Clottey's hands had held out then he would have beaten Margarito.

I think that is worth a punt, Clottey is a good fighter, and Cotto is damaged goods in my opinion.

I am of the same opinion - but - there are a few rumblings that Clottye could cause a shock which makes me think I may have yet another prediction completely wrong!!!

one the one hand i don't think Clottey's style of hiding behind the earmuffs and not letting much go, is well suited to fighting Cotto, who will touch him up upstairs and work the body, has faster hands better offensive variety and is more willing to let shots go

on the other hand i'm not sure how well Cotto will deal with a man probably bigger than he is, and who will possibly come on strong late. Cotto took some time to work out the high guard of (EG0 Abdullaev), and Clottey is Abdullaev x10, so to speak. 9/11 x 1000, etc.

Clottey will be massive come fight-night. I think Cotto will win, but 40/1 on the later rounds is too good to miss, especially with Cotto having questionable stamina. And Clottey should test that stamina, because I can't see Cotto "smashing him to pieces".

I think Clottey will either KO him late or Cotto will win a really wide UD decision dont think Cotto will make the same mistake twice like he did against Margirito though

The Margarito comparison is interesting. Richie Davies slung Margarito out late on but Clottey was winning.
The 'winning' bit is purely from memory.

I don't think he made a mistake in that fight - I thought he fought sexually. For those first 6/7 rounds Cotto hit Margo with everything. He just ran out of steam because it was non-stop pressure from Tony. I suppose he could work on his stamina, but I think that's Cotto's weakness - fighters that will pressure him to fight for 12 rounds. It's a horrible opponent for Cotto, one that will test that stamina, and there's got to be a question mark there regarding that. It's going to be interesting finding out.

Cotto should be fine, but at 40/1, I got to have a go at it.
