Let's face it, boxing needs some big fights like never before, it's desperate times. Even I'm losing interest right now, after being a 30 year fan boy. There's just NOTHING out there right now.

The big fights we really need ASAP

Haye v Vitali/Wlad
Froch v Pavlic
Manny v Valero
Khan v Hatton - why not, fireworks guaranteed...

We might even see some of these very rarely made fights, as the TV money drops off and frantic promoters are forced to offer up the very best....we can dream eh

mosely v mayweather

pacquio v marquez

klitschko v klitschko

froch v anyone decent guaranteed action

Cotto v Floyd in NY or PR.

Vic Darch v Manny Pac in Oz or the country that Manny owns.

Froch v Bute or/and Kessler would be potential classics.
Victor Ortiz is one to watch at 140 and potentially good fights against Bradley, Holt and Torres could be around the corner.

To be honest mate - I am more worried about the British scene - TV drying up and all that - and thus your thread is a good one if the money can be found to make the fights.

Murray v Khan

Winner to have a pop at Hatton - why not? - although I think Hatton is a massive favourite.

Froch versus any world class fighter.

Haye v Wladimir - but not Haye against Vitali - I have the view that Vitali will make short work of David where my opinion is the other way around if Dave went in against Wladimir.

I also would love the British Promoters to eat some humble pie and get some block buster or at worst some good domestic clashes on - the time for inter promoter rivalry is gone - british boxing needs some good fights.

for once I agree. but I think haye also realizes that he hasn't a hope in hell of beating Vitali. Wlad is beatable though

A Manny-Cotto fight is much more appealing than a Mayweather match-up, either way they both have the same outcome.
