I am 22 in two weeks' time, so that should make you feel a touch better.

Also, let's try to guess Bennies' age (no offence, pal) - I reckon 92.

I bet Bennie's in his 60s.

I'm 24. I've only been a big fan of boxing since 2006. Before then I just watched the odd big fight. I have done some catching up though, watching older fights.

I'm 32. I think I remember watching Hagler-Hearns with my old man, although I can't be sure it wasn't a repeat.
Benn, Eubank, Holyfield, Bowe and reading Boxing Monthly and BN really got me hooked

31

My two earliest memories of boxing are Bruno thrashing some Bum within a round, who I'm pretty sure was then sick at ringside and Benn Vs McClennan. Benn's performance probably the most inspiring thing I have ever seen (apart from the tragic result).

Naz got me back into it. Didn't see of the Sky stuff pre Naz but was able to afford it just as Naz came along :box:

28. Tyson, Benn, Naz and Lewis have meant I've been into boxing for about 20 odd years. Although I remember my Granddad telling me when I was very young about how Marciano was the greatest and would have knocked out Ali and Tyson easily.

38yrs old ... always loved the boxing, one of the earliest memories I have is getting one of those punch balls attached to a plank of wood you had to stand on to stop it falling over ... it kinda turned me off boxing for awhile cos as soon as you moved off the plank and punched the bloody thing toppled over :witzend:

I only boxed myself from the age of 16-17yrs old up untill about 25yrs old ... it was about this age I turned into the anorak I am today :TU: my real boxing interest is the old timers - pre-1960`s .. specifically black American turn of the century guys.

on the Bennie age thing .. pretty sure he`s early 40`s(not 1940`s)

25. Got into boxing in 2001 after finding out that Naz had been beaten. I was surprised that he had been unbeaten in his career - it was really amazing to me that there was a sport where someone could actually be unbeaten, especially after so many years!

Looked up Naz's record and found Boxrec, which had pretty much started that year, then started finding other fighter's records, many of which seemed to be similar in win proportion to Naz's. I started to question, if all of these guys have mostly wins, who is losing?

I quickly found out and my childlike curiosity and innocence was soon bludgeoned by the harsh realities of boxing and record padding.
