Have you revised your opinion that he has "scorching hot potential" then Ant?Ant Evans wrote:That was written SIX years ago. And if you read it, all the statements about Greenberg becoming a world champ etc came from him and his team (you can tell because, great writer that I am, I put these weird " " marks "" by their quotes).
Re: Earth shattering, reality shaping Roman Greenberg update
Lets hope he doesn't take up UFC then, Ant will have to start plugging him again.MightyWarrior wrote:Have you revised your opinion that he has "scorching hot potential" then Ant?Ant Evans wrote:That was written SIX years ago. good reply ant...... but we have still caught you with your pants down !!!!!!!Ant Evans wrote:He HAD scorching hot potential. But potential, as they said in that Tom Cruise film, is like popcorn before you put it into the mircorwave. Some pop, some don't.MightyWarrior wrote:Have you revised your opinion that he has "scorching hot potential" then Ant?Ant Evans wrote:That was written SIX years ago. And Greenberg was allowed to eat too much popcorn.
Re: Earth shattering, reality shaping Roman Greenberg update
Nice try Ant, but TT has put you in your place and you protest too much!
You start a mock thread poking fun at an overhyped never was... and are then revealed to be the author of exactly the kind of tosh which the thread seemed to be satirising!
All good fun

Er..no he didn't. Only in your star struck eyes Ant.Ant Evans wrote:

In the REAL world, he was always seen as another overhyped, over protected fat heavyweight pretender.
Did your cutting edge article have something to do with you working for secondsout then?
You've been OWNED mate, take it like a man. No wonder you've moved over to wrestling
Re: Earth shattering, reality shaping Roman Greenberg update
Did his arms shrink in the last 5 years. This is quite a funny read.
"He HAD scorching hot potential. But potential, as they said in that Tom Cruise film, is like popcorn before you put it into the mircorwave. Some pop, some don't."
"although I NEVER thought he'd get beyond Euro level because his arms are so short."
Which one is it, unless never getting beyond Euro is a sign of potential.

Greenberg mus thave made lots of money, not surprised he retired, shows what he is made of.....in my opinion!
Maybe a fight with Matthew Ellis?
I am sure Ellis was supposed to be the first Billion Dollar Athlete?
Maybe we got it wrong and it was meant to read the Worlds first Billion 'Lira' Athlete?

Hardly. I guess you don't understand the meaning of the world "potential"; or that people change their minds.
You know, changing your mind .. like the time you were flaming Mr Will (the boxing photographer) like some sort of tough guy on a forum in 2004, then when you met him in Vegas later that year, and he will 3times bigger than you, you changed your mind about acting so tough.
what?? mr will is a lovely guy, i have never ever bad mouthed him, so not sure where you got that from. plus... big does not = hard, i thought you were educated enough t0 know that !!
and im sure mr will be delighted to know you are referring to him as 40 stone !!

Re: Earth shattering, reality shaping Roman Greenberg update
I think the length of Greenberg's arms were the least of his worries! That's actually the first time I've ever heard the length of a fighter's arms used as a reason why they didn't hit the heights. Is this boxing or the porn industry? Maybe Roman G will have better luck in the latter.Ant Evans wrote:That was written SIX years ago. The most excited comment from me in the whole article is "Of course, Greenberg has yet to face a dangerous puncher, much less a genuine gut-check situation but he has done everything expected of him thus far."
Greenberg is a nice fella who had some talent, although I never thought he'd get beyond Euro level because his arms are so short. But he was always surrounded by cheerleaders are arse-kissers who never took him to task or made him work hard and kept telling him shite performances were awesome.

No, but then he states in this thread that he NEVER thought he would amount to much. So did he not believe what he was writing 6 years ago?
Re: Earth shattering, reality shaping Roman Greenberg update

lol,Ant Evans wrote:Many of you have literally not slept since the, ahem, shocking defeat of the world’s first billion dollar fighter and fastest heavyweight since Ali, Roman Greenberg last year.
Well, rest easy tonight because he’s the update:
Greenberg is said to be weighing over 20stone and living in Israel and is unlikely ever to fight again.
