Bout's on the MEN area (Khan undercard) discussion

Post by whicker »

Excuse the cynicism- this is meant to be light hearted. :KO:

OK, percentage chances that the following MEN bouts are cancelled!

Kell Brook V Michael Lomax- 70%. Just got a bad feeling that this one will be pulled. Brook seems keen, but is perhaps still a little precious- watch out for late cancellation due to injury or "injury." (But please, I'd love to be proved wrong.)

Kotelnik V Khan- 20%. If the bout is pulled, then the show is pulled, so it probably will go ahead.

Hall V Small- 35%- could get pulled, which would be a shame- probably will go ahead though, as untelevised support.

Macklin V Facey- 95%. Seem to have "Friday Fight Night" written all over it.

Maccarinelli V Lebedev- 50% . 50-50 chance of going ahead, simple as!

Olympians- 20%

Let's be honest, it would be remarkable if all the fights went ahead as planned.

Kotelnik now seems to be doubtful- although there could be an interesting opponent! We hope!

Is Brook/Lomax off the card then?

Hearing stories about it being on the 31st July, anyone know anything for definite, god the rumour mill, be nice if promoters were just straight up and told us what the f*** was going on

I'm curious as to why bookmakers are not offering odds on the Brook fight, but they are on the Hall-Small and Celeverly fights.

With two weeks to go, fingers crossed, this is holding up well!

Should be an ace show.

Boxrec have an 8 fight card, but I think Paul Smith might be fighting too (based on the fact he mentioned he had tickets for sale for it.)

Wirren's own site mentions that Denton Vassell is fighting, but doesn't list Kevin Mitchell on the schedule.

Don't speak to soon. I remember the Harrison v Cook and Skelton v Audley fights falling through in the last week.

Best fight of the night will be Hall Vs Small, have a look on warrens site at the press conference. Hall looks ready to explode, I think he will win in the mid to late rounds but it could end as soon as Hall lands.

Well, this exact rumour has been specifically denied on the "place where rabbits live" website.

Just what I'm hearing Terry.
I think Murray's contract with Mick is up soon so probably a move by Wazza not just to get him for this fight.
I am however convinced Kotelnik won't be in the other corner.

Like I say mate, only saying what I hear.
If its rumour and innuendo, I stand corrected.
You refer to yourself in the plural.
If you're from the Khan camp or close to it, why don't you simply set the record straight ?
