Thanks for the replies! How do I get these records I have, and some great mermorabila in to someone. I have all the articles shoeing dads 19 stright KOs rating him the #1 lightweight in the world at the time. I have the names of the boxers he knocked out. I have all the pictures of the grandpa when he was training Sam Lagford. His pictrues are training some name fighters for those days. I can not go into why dad left the game but it was on the verge of a title shot. Some of the managers in those days were not so honest and upright. Just look what they did to dads records, 12 and 5, that is a joke! So some of what could have been the best trainers in the world were just forgoten. I remember grandpa Manny making me, in slow motion, turn that body. move that back right foot an eighth to a quarter of an inch, and that put so much power in the snap of that punch that it KOed every thing it touched. By high school I have broken the right hand so many times as those little bones would not take that kind of power with out gloves on. Dad had a bad finnish. As you can see they have him fighting out of Las Vegas not Long Beach or the Hawiian boxing club, I wonder what that is all about? The person that took dad under his wing in Las Vegas helped him to not have to do those things that they wanted him to do, I hope you get my drift. That is why he left and never looked back. I have article after article showing he was the number on lightweight in the world, I wonder how that record got so lost, oh never mind!! How could my family just disapper form the game when I have all these old Jack Dempsey picture and granpa in so many of Jacks right ups. Thanks
