Knockout jabbers

In Jack Dempsey's book he complains greatly about how "nowadays" there exists a new punch called the "left jab".
He says that the old-timers' left lead punch was just as fast as the jab but was very powerful and could knock people out. It was called the "left jolt".
The power comes from an extremely awkward step which he calls the "falling step" and occasionally the "trigger step".
And he says the fist should be held vertically for full straightness and to land the punch on the three knuckles so that the "power line" from the shoulder hits correctly.
But essentially that near-impossible step is involved. If you look at pictures of bare-knuckle boxers hitting with the left hand you'll see it's actually exactly like he says.
The only fight I have where a modern fighter gets knocked down, let alone out, by a left jab is when Sugar Ray Leonard fought Wilfred Benitez. Leonard got in a jab to the side of the jaw which knocked down Benitez.
The shock on his face and wide eyes when he went down and the way his head jerked as the punch landed is proof that it was legitimate.
Aside from Sonny Liston, does anyone know fighters(with fight included) who knock people down with jabs? And only fights which were actually recorded on video and available.
