The only option now is for his last fight to be fairly meaningful, I don't think a shitter like Lazcano-style would appeal to anyone again. Therefore meaningful has to mean either abelt at Light-welter or a good british rival like Khan or Witter. IF it's not meaningful at this stage then just retire.

I'd rather just see him retire now but if he does fight on I definately don't want to see him fight another Southpaw. I also think he needs to move up to 147 if he continues, 140 seems like too much work for him now but obviously the belt holders at 147 are bigger and better than they are at 140. Maybe Witter at 147 as a farwell fight, but all Witter has to do is throw right hooks from the southpaw stance and Hatton will willingly stick his head on 'em all night, or at least until someone gets KO'd.

I think he should retire and count himself lucky that the consequences of the Pac fight were not more devastating. He still has his health, but another KO could change that. He would have to look well down the rankings to find a "safe" opponent - and such a match would be meaningless. Call it a day and enjoy the beer (but not too much!).

Why not, Judah is still a top fighter with his recent losses coming against larger(Clottey, Cotto and Baldomir) and just better ability(Mayweather) opponents, doesn't mean he's crap. Plus he'd get some good cash for it.

I've seen three interviews with Hatton since the Pacquiao fight and he's spoken like a badly punch-drunk fighter in each of them. Either his alcohol use has spiralled out of all control or he's suffered a similar degree of brain damage to someone like Riddick Bowe. He should not be allowed to fight again, regardless of what scans may or may not say, but money talks, sadly.
