TV coverage of USA v. Italy dual

Post by Dennis »

The USA v. Italy dual is being broadcast on Italian TV. I don't know if there is a way to watch it here in the U.S. via the internet. It is being shown on SKY.it on channel 202 (Sky Sport 2). I have posted a link to the ad for the live coverage. If anyone can figure out a way to subscribe and be able to view it, please let me know. It would be helpful to be able to read and speak Italian, which I don't as someone could contact Sky.it and get more info.

For anyone in Italy, the dual will be shown live on Sky Sport 2 starting at 8:55 pm Italian time which is 2:55 pm EST in the U.S. The show is scheduled to last for 3.5 hours. They are having the show outdoors in a very nice stadium. They are doing it like a top-notch pro show with an orchestra, lights, speakers, and all the other trimmings.

Well, I did find that someone has posted the first round of Jordan Shimmell's bout with Clemente Russo at

(hopefully more rounds might be added later?)

Jordan looked pretty good...a little cautious/defensive with the Olympic silver medalist but not intimidated at all.

Would like to see rest of this bout plus all the others...

One thing I dislike about Russo's style is he never throws punches, all he ever throws is the up-jab and he just flicks it over and over. When he started dancing with his chin in the air I wish Shimmell had posterized him.

Russo is very quick with his hands and feet. He tries to bait people in with his hands down and then quickly counters. Many boxers get frustrated by his tactics, which falls right into his game plan.

Not a fan of his style, but Russo has ridiculously fast hands for a boxer of that size.
