I'd be very surprised if all the prospects make it to world level and even if they did, America have huge depth as a boxing nation. Would be nice to think that some of those guys make yet it to the top though and we get to see plenty of British fighters fighting for top honours over the next decade.

WE DO HAVE SOME GOOD FIGHTERS COMING THROUGH BUT HOW MANY AMERICANS HAVE HEARD OF OUR PROSPECTS , AS IM SURE THE SAME APPLIES VICE VERSA , THEYVE GOT THE LIKES OF WARD & DIRRELL WHO ARE FAIRLY EARLY ON IN THEIR CAREERS BUT THERE WILL BE LOADS MORE JUST LIKE THEM AND NOT ALL WILL MAKE THE GRADE JUST LIKE WITH OURS , REMEMBER AUDLEY HARRISON WAS A PROSPECT AT ONE TIME :oo

The UK is never going to "rule" the world of boxing.

Do they these days, I'm not so sure. How many of the top fighters in the world are American now. Both Klits, Pacquaio, Cotto, Hatton (until recently), Calzaghe, Marquez, none of these guys are American, and are some of the biggest names in the sport.

There's some talent coming through for sure, but their biggest names are either retired or near retirement. Holyfield, Jones Jr, Hopkins are probably the biggest American names, and they are all ancient.
