That April 24, 1922 Bud Ridley bout in New York appears dubious. He was in Australia/Philippines at this time, and did not return stateside until July 10, after an eight-month tour, per the July 11 Tacoma News Tribune.
BTW: His manager, Joe Waterman, in a July 12 interview, said that Ridley had a total of eight bouts in the Orient: 3W-3L-2D. We have nine. Also, that Ridley generally got paid anywhere from 180 to 500 pounds per fight, at $5.00 per pound.
