Don't think so. Mathis had black trunks on w/ white stripe in that fight. Hair was also shorter.teddy007 wrote:Nemesis wrote:Can anyone tell me what fight this was from?

Re: Ali Fight
Yes, looks like Ernie Terrell to me. What amazing reflexes Ali had!
Re: Ali Fight
This is a video that has obviously been tampered with. Ali did not have these sorts of reflexes. In the real video he was hit by every one of those shots.
how do I know?
granberry told me so.

Re: Ali Fight
Terrell got thumbed fairly early in that fight and had vision problems most of the fight.
Don't be too impressed by those moves Ali was putting on in order to humiliate his opponent.
Ernie was not a big puncher nor fast of hand.

exactly, that film was likely sped up to 5X it's original speed. Besides most anyone of us can move our entire bodies backward faster than a punch can approach us from a blind, lame man.
ok....move along....nothing to see here.
Hmm now the one that posted a while back when he avoided Patterson's punches in a similar manner was interesting....except that once again Patterson had broke his back as I recall, and on that day he was not fast, not a puncher.....so nothing there either. They can manipulate video a thousand ways from Sunday these days and even make a guy like Ali look like he knows what he's doing.

Bloody hell, its amazing how many people couldn't tell it was Ernie Terrell. It almost seems mandatory you should at least know a peak Muhammad Ali's title fights before you start posting on a boxing forum.

In a real response to this topic, this was the Ali-Terrell fight. I watched it recently and I believe that image is in real time. You can tell by how slow the ref is moving for anyone who believes otherwise.
