Re: Khan v Morales. Roach can't be serious
when roach first said it before the kotelnik fight i was thinking he must be losing it hes usualy the 1 telling fighters to retire not to come out and take a severe beating against a much larger man
Re: Khan v Morales. Roach can't be serious
After the Pacman wipeout he was telling Hatton to retire "unless he wants to end up like me" he said and now he's allegedly wanting a fighter who hasn't fought for two years and is almost a decade past his best to use as a sacrificial lamb for his own fighter.

Its disgusting.
I lost a lot of respect for Roach after reading his comments in yesterdays Boxing Monthly.

Re: Khan v Morales. Roach can't be serious
Lets face it....Roach is one of the best trainers around, but is also a hypocritical ar*e.
Calls for fighters to retire lest they end up permanently damaged, but apparenly doesn't mind feeding a badly faded Morales to Khan. If any fighter should stay retired its Erik Morales. He certainly shouldn't be facing a young lion like Khan for a title in a weightclass way above where he was prime. Shame on Roach for calling for this sh*t.
