Re: Woods v Cloud 28/8 Florida
ESPN are showing the fight in the states.
The American promoters are also exploring an internet option as well.
Unfortunately the American promoters have won all TV options concerning the fight and thus it will be up to them or ESPN on whether the fight will get shown on the new UK channel on ESPN being launched at the beginning of August.

It's a long way from Orlando, 200+ miles but it's very close to Fort Lauderdale Airport and about 30 mins drive up the coast from Miami Beach.

I'm gonan go with Cloud he did a job on Gonzalez last time, will of been out of action for a year though. If Woods can take him into deep water you never know. It will take a career best performance to regain the title though.

I hope Woods doesn't fight to survive like he did with Tarver.
Easy to say from here but have a go and make Cloud win it.

i think his only chance is to get forward and back Cloud up behind a jab. if he fights defensively and lets Cloud get a head of steam up i think that's the worst possible plan/outcome for Clinton.El Raincoat wrote:I hope Woods doesn't fight to survive like he did with Tarver.

Full credit to him if he can get the win. America hasn't been a happy hunting ground for him.

Woods failed miserably in both his previous trips to the States. The location of this doesn't bode well.
Maybe that this is a low key world title fight will help him though?
