Hopefully Mainevent will do the right thing and televise this show instead of the UFC show that is happening at the same time.
Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal
It would have to. Mayweather > UFC
Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal
OneHD should take it on themselves to purchsed the Australian rights and show it free to Air. Yes....i said it.....free to air.
I'm not even sure if the rights are up for grabs to be honest. But if they are this would be an amazing opportunity to showcase one of our best local boxers, and the current best boxer in the world.

No arguements here toppo, the bean counters at ONE might have a different view though...
Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal

It looks like Allen Green v Oganov in the US in Oct.
Another fight that may land on the card is Ali Funeka v Joan Guzman for the vacant IBF 135 belt.
Initially Romanov and Angulo were supposed to fight for that belt last week but Romanov couldn't get a visa for the US in time by all reports. Not sure why Angulo gets left out, even though he didn't deserve to be there in the first place. Maybe he becomes the mando for the winner.
Fantastic card.

yeah the satellite feed, Sky will be playing it (unsure of Main Event, i have asked one of my contacts in Fox he said it is likely they pick it up since Mick's on the undercard...i keep you guys posted)adnileb wrote:What do you mean SoundKamp? Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal
This is exactly the fight he needed, a good solid test but very winnable fight. Should he get thru this guy challenge for one of the Alpha titles......then maybe unify.
Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal
If Guzman is also added to this card it would easily be the best card in recent memory...
Re: Katsidis v Vincente Escobedo a done deal
stacks up to that status already i reckon.
