The above contest to be promoted by allegedly will take place at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on Friday, 9th October 2009.


SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT TONY QUIGLEY (Holder) v PAUL SMITH
Following the opening of purse bids at 12.00.noon on Wednesday, 12th August 2009 the winning purse bid was submitted by allegedly. The contest to take place at the Echo Arena, Liverpool on Friday, 30th October 2009.


MIDDLEWEIGHT (Vacant) MATTHEW MACKLIN v DARREN BARKER
Due to Matthew Macklin relinquishing his British Championship to contest the European Championship, a decision will be made on this division at a later date.


WELTERWEIGHT KELL BROOK (Holder) v JOHN O’DONNELL
Following agreement between the parties the Stewards approved the postponement of the previous call for purse bids for the above contest.

KELL BROOK (Holder) v MICHAEL JENNINGS
Approval was granted for the above voluntary defence to be promoted by allegedly, to take place at a date and venue to be confirmed, strictly subject to the winner waiving grace and defending when called upon to do so.

It looks like the Stoke show for Edwards next title on the 16th will be put back til November.

Tell me.............how does the board make Williams vs. Grant for the vacant English title when neither

has fought for there local Area titles?

SURELY the current Southern Area champion at light-welter (Peter McDonagh) deserves another shot at the
title,considering he had a close one against Daws!!!

Just goes to show how the British Board make it up as they go along!!!!!

Ansd they're supposed to be working for the benefit of the boxers???
