Seeds at Major championships !!! Starting with Worlds :)
AIBA made a major step in inovations. Starting with Milano World championships there will be seeds at each weight divisions. For those propose were made world rankings. First 8 fighters from each weight will be seeded. That means that 1st and 2nd in the rankings may meet only at the final!

The rankings aren't real accurate though as some top boxers who don't compete in the last few major international tourneys won't be ranked and they give points for Youth tourneys. They also don't remove all the boxers who have turned pro. Oh well, at least it is a start. Rankings are fun and give fans something to talk about.
