I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm going about this the correct way. I have in my collection several large boxing flyers that were handed out to fans in Santo Domingo, Domingian Replublic plugging fights in 1929. I see in BoxRec a fight between Angel Fajardo Clivilles and Alex "Kid" Gibbons on 10/25/1929. The record states the exact date is unknown. My boxing flyer states that this fight was suppose to take place on 10/20/1929 at Santo Domingo Stadium. The rest of the card consisted of Antonio Medrano vs Pena Camara (3 rounds), Otilio Martinez vs Jaime Diaz (5 rounds), Baby Smiles vs. Stephen Levermore (8 rounds) and substitute fight V. Rivera vs Ant. Mundaray (3 rounds). The Clivilles-Gibbons fight was scheduled for 10 rounds.
In addition I have a large flyer for a fight between Alex "Kid" Gibbons and Eliseo Quintana on 10/6/1929 at Macorisano Stadium (Santo Domingo?). BoxRec has no record of this match. I think that this fight did indeed take place because on the flyer for the Gibbons-Clivilles fight which took place 14 days later bills Gibbon as " El Vencedor de Quintana", which I think means "The victor or victorious over Quintana". I don't know how I would go about showing proof of these flyers other than sending a scan to the editor. What should I do next?

Could you send images to me at [email protected] -- I have researched both Clivilles and Quintana and would probably use them as a follow-up with Dr NEWSPAPERS.
